I'm not sure there'd be the amount of weathering you've added to the Ravenwing back-banner, but I have a feeling that it might not look as good without it. Hope the painting competition doesnt requiere to be codex legal, because you have to take a tornado with a bike squadron. Aside from that, your Ravenwing is stunning! I nearly have compelted Sammy in the time you've done 2 squads.. envy... lovely dynamic poses, nice understated base colours only deepened by the occassional flash of hard primary colours, beautiful freehanding and imaginative poses. I really like the aged bone effect you've got in there - it actually looks much better than the blue/white version painted by GW. I like it. A lot. I see several very good painters comming around here, but you are without doubt one of the people in top 3 if not just nr. 1. I am guessing you run into a lot of best painted army awards don't you?
