Will be cut to perfect shape once the glue is dry. Then I'll drill out an area to put the lenses in. He also got his mohawk redone and in case no one notices, I filled up the small recess in the front of the mohawk and scribed it out again in an inverted V folowing the contours of his helmet. The mohawk is looking pretty spot-on. Just a question, have you made any progress into the Sword yet? I've been thinking a little aout whether I truly want the half chain/half power weapon setup. The more I look at Cloud's compleyed sword (Using all 6 blades), the more I like that design. Which do you think would be easier to achieve? I'd like your feedback on this, as I'm not quite sure which would look better. Perhaps the input of the community would help also. What do you think guys? On the sword, I'd like to build the half half blade anyway, so I will. The six blades in one sword? that's the big cleaver right? shouldn't be to hard, although I don't have a front view so I don't know exactly how it should fit toghether. As for the 6-in-1 (aka First Tsuragi), I'd say just make the basic shape with similar detailing to the images. There's no need to have the layers, as I don't want the sword to be made up of 6 blades, fluff-wise. I just like the segmented, techy feel to it. Brother_Beork Posted July 15, 2009 Author Share Posted July 15, 2009 Smal update, haven't had to much time due too the kids, wife, arranging our marriage (not due for another year, but a lot to take care of). I added a foot, some wiring and a spaced armour plate. The plate is set 0,3mm from the greave on two a bit extended 0,3mm strips of styrene. The plate is also 0,3mm styrene. In between the two sides I might put some cables or something... or maybe not, a spaced blade is something cool as well. As there will be a partial covering exposing internal stuff, it would be hell to paint. So I had some ideas I liked and some I discarded. Just when I finally had an idea (the original, how ironic) that I liked and thought would work, it seperated into two ideas. As for the sword, I think you're right about it needing some kind of cover between the chain and power blades. I'm keen to see what you come up with. I am still of two minds about which sword I really want. If you are willing, you can make a prototype of the other one. If you do, would you mind making it without the chain part?
