Looking at the pic. Seems as though a player will need a separate 5 man Scout SQD to be on the board to represent the disembarked Scouts.

Now the Q is; can the LS Storm then be used as a HB platform to support the Scouts it just dropped off? Hmmmm...

Yes, the scouts are just decoration. You need to have a seperate squad, like any other transport. The storm has an HB standard.

If you were really good you could, you could convert them if you wanted.

Here's the biggest badass kit I've built. It's freaking cool. As of this point, IMHO anything is possible for GW.

Now I have to figure out how to paint it!

sooo lucky that you where able to get a a Fortress... also, can DA use storms??? it would be cool if we could another thing, it wouldn't be "ravenwing" jet black because why? i don't mind that its green it looks cool but as fluff goes...

meh what ever it looks great nice work :)

We can only use them using codex SM. It's the only way. I can make a force to represent Naaman. As for black, scouts haven't earned it yet. 10th company stays green.

I hope I don't disappoint!

Here's my test paint for the fortress.

I'm doing this bunker section first, to get it right. I've completed the base painting of the structure, and then chose one side to complete, to make sure I am happy with it. I think this is the scheme I'll go with. My goal is to complete this section this week.

Hail ODM

I think that it looks awe inspiring. No doubt about that. Would it be possible to get a step-by-step photo representation? I am plotting to get my own Fortress of Redemption some time this week, and, well, frankly, yours is the best painting result I have spotted to date!!!

Cheers, and keep up the productivity.

Regards,

MC

Sure thing Master Ciaphas, it's nice to positive feedback. It's difficult working in a vacuum. I'll try to do the step by step as I start the next section.

Here's the next night's work. This bunker is mostly done. I have to paint the heavy bolter, and then paint some of the metallics on the tech panels, cameras, and then the pipes/wires. Anyway, the heavy lifting is done for this section. If I use my time well this week, I can finish this section and get the drybrushing done on the next section before I go back home this weekend.

Your works are really awesome :tu:

I never gave feedback until now, but I enjoy reading your updates.

I'm extremely jealous of how well you do and how quickly you work, though ^^

Giving me a lot of inspiration, particularly the fortress right now.

If I might be so bold...

I would break up the parts you now have in just the weathered bone (Or is that a metallic colour, hard to see on the pics). It looks like large area's of bleached bone and then washed again.

They have the bits of banner/scrolls on them that I feel would look better is picked out again with either a dark angels green or a Dark red/purple coulour, and then perhaps some scriblings on them.

Apart from that it's comming along great again as we are just about used to when it comes to your work ;)
