A little teaser. Something dark is stirring!

Sanguinius stood there, his chest rising and falling like a tempestuous ocean. His face was a picture of sheer rage, his clenched fists were white. Dante and the other Blood Angels took a backwards step, seemingly afraid of their Primarch. Sanguinius was exuding raw psychic energy, like a volcano his anger was mounting up. Each and every Astarte in the room quivered, Mephistons eyes were glowing a dark red, a halo of dark energies surrounding him and Sanguinius. He started to shake, his wrath becoming too much for him.

“That bastard! It is an affront to our Legion and to the Emperor that he exists. That he set foot with in the same system as Baal enrages me. To have that foul abomination to have set foot upon our Home world stokes my wrath. Ready for a drop. I will break that daemons back. I will flay his soul from his twisted body. I will destroy him” Sanguinius announced, anger soaked his usually calm and soft voice. His face resembled an angry beast rather then an Angel. Sparks flew from his hands, he was bathed in an unholy light, his entire body shook. He laughed a laugh that was not his own, his now bestial face a picture of anger itself.

In the Webway the Emperor wept a single tear for the pain and anger Sanguinius felt.

“I feel it too Father. Such anguish, but why?” Magnus asked, feeling deep sorrow for his brother.

Cegorach and Ynnead looked on in confusion.

“This pretence ends now” shouted Ynnead. His voice was hollow and unearthly.

The Emperor snapped his head towards the Eldar God and snarled, “You dare to challenge me? You are a mere child, you are the coalesced form of millions of your pitiful race; whilst I am a God!” roared the Emperor. Bolts of energy leaping from him and spinning around, searing the wraith bone walls. It was a fearsome display of but a fraction of His powers. Cegorach began to dance; light followed him a bright blur as he moved. In one quick and fluid motion the Laughing God leapt forwards and round house kicked the Emperor in the face. Magnus stomped forwards, orbs of purple lightning crackling in his palms. He brought his hands together with a thunderous clap, the two orbs met. There was a flash of light and a jet of purple lightning rushed from his hands towards Cegorach. The psychic attack hit the Eldar God in the chest knocking him to the ground.

The Emperor raised his hands upwards; a set of black jaws rose up from the ground and snapped around Cegorach. Silver wisps of smoke appeared through the set of jaws, there was a flash of brilliant yellow light and Cegorach appeared back at Ynneads side; a look of delight on his face.

“A mere child is it?” he mocked.

Like the hot tears of anger that flowed freely from his eyes, the Drop Pods of the Blood Angels Legion plummeted towards the surface of Baal. The daemons looked skyward, bestial grins upon their face as they butchered more civilians. A giant Blood Thirster sent others of his kind flying as he asserted his dominance, wanting to be the first to combat the Blood Angels. Ka'Bandha raised his Daemonic Axe and charged, his black leathery wings carrying him forwards. Dozens of Drop Pods were slamming into the ground, their red shells disappearing in a screen of dirt and smoke.

A lone figure came sprinting through the smoke. His pearly white wings out stretched, a fiery blade in his right hand. Ka'Bandha looked at the figure and laughed. Khorne would be pleased with him.

I hope this add will satisfy my awesome readers :D

Cypher? Ever since i started Warhammer 8 years ago i was told that Cypher carried the key to unlock the Emperor. yes in your story Baal was under attack from Ka'Bandha but that did not lead to me writing an add with those facing off. I was going to have the Blood Angels attack a Daemon world with him on it many chapters ago but i chose to write about Russ and other things. I am not trying to sound mad or annoyed here but i cannot see how i am copying you? I do not want to come to blows over this. You are a nice guy and a good writer. If you feel i have copied you, send me a pm and we can talk there. I cant say too much as i can reveal a lot of the plot and 'meat' of the story.

Edit and oh i don't actually know any of your plots, you know mine as i've told them to you in PM. I was going to have the Emperor destroy the Chaos gods but can't now, i guess the Tyranids will have to eat them.

There was a wall of red and the occasional spot of gold, as Astartes and Daemons faced off. Sanguinius stood at the head of his Legion, the Blade Encarmine poised for a mid rift attack, it was aglow with a fiery power

“Warriors of Baal! These affronts to humanity and to the Emperor dare to set foot upon our Home! We will not let this go on for any longer!” Sanguinius stretched his wings and arms out before him “As I did upon the cradle of humanity I will cast the abomination Ka’Bandha back to the warp hell he belongs too! Rise up to defend our Home from this filth!” The mighty Primarch roared.

The very earth shook as he spoke, his anger radiating outwards, each and every gathered Blood Angel shivered. The wrath of their Primarch flowing through them like a sea. The Blood Angels thumped their armoured chests, stomped the floor, howling at the daemons. With each thump they stepped forwards, their legs coming down to the ground. The noise was like an army of marching Titans, the Blood Angels were becoming incensed with Sanguinius’ wrath. Their faces were dark and foreboding, more bestial than the daemons they faced. The once proud, noble and angelic faces of Sanguinius’ sons and the Primarch himself replaced by a twisted expression of rage.

The thumping of chest plates and stomping of armoured boots was quickening, building up to a crescendo. Warp power spawned from their anger began to spill out into real space, bathing the Astartes and their Primarch in a dark light.

“We are our Primarchs wrath made incarnate, the Emperors will made manifest!” bellowed the Blood Angels in unison. Their voices were unearthly, eldritch power cackling around them as they spoke.

The daemon hosts shuddered with fear. Ka’Bandha stepped forwards, “My Lord will be pleased with your skull! If you don’t fall in to his favour first!” mocking Sanguinius.

“Your foul lord will never sway me!” retorted Sanguinius, bringing his flaming sword around to face the Lord of Blood Thirsters. Fire spiralled along the blades edge and shot off towards Ka’Bandha, the daemon laughed as he took off into the air.

“Warp spawned magic wont harm me” he laughed. He was wrong. The fire leapt up and followed the lord of Blood Thirsters, snaking around its body. Pain coursed through his body, the likes of which he never had felt as the fire burned his flesh. Ka’Bandha was struggling to keep airborne as the fire encased him. There was a loud bestial and soul shuddering roar and the fire was expelled outwards off Ka’Bandha. Sanguinius jumped into the air, his wings propelling him upwards. The two titanic warriors flew toward each other, weapons ready for an attack. Below the Blood Angels cried out to their Primarch and to the Emperor as they charged toward their daemon foes.

Ka’Bandha and Sanguinius both struck out at one another, Daemonic Axe and Holy Blade colliding in a shower of sparks. The lord of Blood Thirsters axe hissing as its anathema made contact with it. The Blade Encarmine began to glow even more fiercely, the runes of power inscribed upon the blade leaking sparks. With inhuman speed Sanguinius twisted in the air and rammed his elbow into his nemesis’ face. Ka’Bandha was sent tumbling backwards through the air, clutching his face with his free hand. Sanguinius spurred on towards his foe, exploiting his advantage.

Sanguinius looked on at Ka’Bandha in disgust. He loathed and hated the figure. Only one solution was possible, which Sanguinius was more than happy to deliver. Annihilation.

If you have ever watched the film Zulu the part where they bang their shields and stamp their feet, well thats what im trying to have the Blood Angels do :D I want the Black rage and red Thirst to show prolifically here, Sanguinius is extremely angry; he'd make Khorne look happy.

Thank you.

Skirax of course we've sorted it out, now knows sucker punches :P

I thought Ka'Bandha was The Lord of Blood Thirsters and An'ggrath was just a Lord of Blood Thirsters? hey its hard to have two battles going on, a duel between giants and then a massive horde of daemons and a legion of enraged Blood Angels, cut me some slack man :)

Opps, will edit those now, thanks.

Well, Leonidas took his 300 'bodyguards' and held up the Persians in the valley with the aid of 1000 Arcadians. After that, the Council of Sparta ruled that it had been an act of war to kill their King, and so sent 1000 Spartan Warriors, with 30,000 Athenians et al. to crush the remaining force.
