Where the chain swords at and why do they need shock absorbers on their feet?

YKYABTW.. you don't need no stinkin shock absorbers. Our knees and ankles are hardened by the zealous landings of a thousand Crusades.

They look like grav plates, but yes they have a distinct lack of chainswords and other melee weapons.

(for those wondering "Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment" to explain why we needed more preparation.)

I have used that phrase for years. I forgot where I learned it from

I think that's Isador from Dawn of War (might be Gabriel "skyleaping terminator" Angelos too, not quite sure)

YKYABTW ...you catch your wife in front of the tv watching magic tricks and feel the urge to get your sword.

I REALLY need to diy a flamer for these occasions...

I didn't think the Mars could create that technology in miniature? I thought it was the Eldar (PURGE) that had mastered that. Yes the Custodes have Grav Tanks and the Space Marines have Landspeeders but they are huge tanks.

Not sure what they are but, we don't need them. We do, how ever, need the nice newly re mastered Chain Swords.

If the only difference to your painting desk over time is how much black, red and white (maybe some metalics) is there. No other colors ever...

Don't forget that we also have servo-skulls and angry parchment babies. Edited by KhorneHunter57x

Servo skulls I'm okay with. Still not sold on flying babies. Carrying extra ammo is what an Initiate's Neophyte is there for.

:cuss ing Trainspotting ruined those for me. Servoskulls are sick and historically artistic references as well as their in-universe function.

Also, YKYABTW upon your wife laughing at Grimaldus' tone of "Niiiine daaaysss..." on ep. 4; you force her to rewatch all 4 videos and lecture her on appropriately ZEALOUS remarks.

Servo skulls I'm okay with. Still not sold on flying babies. Carrying extra ammo is what an Initiate's Neophyte is there for.

The flying babies carried Bolters, Celestine's cloak, and parchment too. And the Librarians have one that carry a tiny knife shiv.

They're said they're a good part of the grimdarkness of the setting and deserve more tabletop feature. Perhaps as a swarm type unit for Sisters to take (kind of like razorwing flocks but instead tiny deadly flying infants).

And every Initiate should be responsible for their own combat load. Expecting others, especially Neophytes, to carry it for you is a sign of weakness.

Heretic! You a Black Templar player mentioned Librarians in a YKYABTW post and don't state "Burn the Witch!"

To the Pain Glove now, errant follower of Dorn!!!

Pain Gloves are for the slightly less zealous Sons of Dorn. The truely Zealous don't need to BDSM to focus their hatred properly.

That said, I mentioned the Librarian not in approval of their vocation, but rather in reference where the Imperium stores its shiv carrying flying babies. Presumably to kill the Librarian at the first sign of daemonic taint.

Fulkes forgive the offence of implying the lack of Zeelotry then!

Perhaps I should have said Paddlin' then? I'm not much up on the ways of the Dorn meat-bags:wink:

Nice idea about the Shiv though.

Clearly you need to download the latest Sons of Dorn support package into your brain.

If it doesn't work, try turning it off and on again. ;)

When you don't feel the least bit bad about building a new crusade from the ground up.

But you do feel bad for retiring your old crusade.

I may still use my 25th EC model though. That :censored: killed everything back in the day.

When you see Black Templars, Imperial Fists and Crimson Fists still in existence confirmed by an image in the Primaris Faction Focus and while you find your zealous faith rewarded, you can only rage out because they've put a Primaris in BT colors and gave him and the Crimson Fist a bloody COMPANY NUMBER on the knee! Iron Hands too, for that matter!

UGH! >_<

Could be a squad number for the Templar. They,ve done stuff like that in the past.

It's just gdub trying to force organization upon us. It will never work.

Btw, going through my old models I found 4 Chaplains that go on bikes from 2nd and 3rd. Perfect for jump chap.

It could be an honor marking - "In honor of the scouring of Aplanet Prime alongside the Star Adepts' Third Company, our survivors from that battle now bear the numeral three, while theirs have earned the right to display our Crusade badge from that battle..."

It could also be a tally, a challenge - "See this three?  That's how many Eldar witches I've killed in single combat - and I'm about to need to repaint it..."

Though given how individualistic Templars are, maybe that Marine just really wants to wear the number three. In that case, I would take him to the Chaplain and the Apothecary ASAP, to test for Chaos taint.
