Now now Brother, our Crusade is Eternal, and will not rest until all who oppose the Emperor are crushed beneath its heel.

Brother are Crusade is Eternal only because Sigismund believed that mankind would never fully be able to cleanse the universe of all taint, but with the Emperors guidance I hope to prove him wrong!

You know you are a Black templar when even your DIY chapter refuses to admit psykers for no good reason

What are you talking about? There are plenty of good reasons to not admit psykers - they are mutants, witches, they are connected to the warp (where chaos is), and the Emperor said "No Librarians" at Nikkea. So technically, every chapter that uses psykers is renegade. Oh wait, we already knew that...

You know you are a Black Templar when you already know that most other space marines are heretics.

You know you're a Black Templar when...

You chain your biro to your wrist

You have Abaddon Black And Ceramite White coming out of your ears

You have a bad tendency to shout "FILTHY XENOS!" at tourists and holiday-makers

You charge in any direction on the table, even towards the edge

Your figures are still charging, even when in storage

You wake up to find your figures have cut their way out of your carry case and are duelling your cat

Your child gets upset because you didn't buy them the Christmas present they wanted, and you shout "NO PITY! NO REMORSE! NO FEAR!" in their face

You hear a two-stroke motor and instantly think of a chainsword

When you go paintballing or airsofting, you prefer to sprint at the enemy and hit them with your weapon

When you snore, you go "zzz... heresy... zzzz... xenos... zzz..... filth.... zzz.... mutant..."

You know you're a Black Templar when...

...Black Legion Chaos Marines refuse to go to bed at night without Abbadon checking under the bed to make sure you are not hiding there.

...Abbadon secretly dreads this task, because he is afraid he might actually find you.

...They know Templars don't hide under beds, but they are scared anyway.

You wake up to find your figures have cut their way out of your carry case and are duelling your cat

Yeah, not ashamed to say this has happened... Actually, my cat managed to get one of my Templar and one of my Crimson Fists. Funniest part was she managed to take the arm off of the CF but the Templar was still fine.

I guess the red paint caught more attention than the black paint on the templar, or are cats colour blind too? Lol

On a different note:

Ou know you're a black templar....

When your last 3 initiates assault an outflanking 20 kroot squad because you refuse to give them the satisfaction of having the charge... And surviving for 2 turns of combat (although you still end up getting eaten)

When your EC gets hit by an IG blob for 33 wounds.... And save all but 2, thanks for the LOS by my neophyte

  • 2 weeks later...

When you look up the following link just to get character and squad names for your army...

When you think it would be awesome to paint up your EC as a Red Knight justifying that in honor of the great deeds he has done, his armor was painted red from all the blood he has spilled , then realize that it would look too closely to Blood Ravens and think they are full of heresy, so you decide to paint him using standard colors since you do not want any model in your army to resemble any form of heresy, even if it is in colors alone...

...when you play another Space Marine army and complain about 5 or 6 times per game about the lack of Vows, Righteous Zeal moves, and chainswords.

...when you play another Space Marine army and go "...the hell is a 'Sergeant'?"

A "sergeant" is like a weaker castellan that lesser chapters use to make their squads stronger (it doesn't work very well).

A "Devastator squad" is a bunch of cowards that use heavy weapons instead of fighting like a Marine.

Come on, haven't you read "A Templar's Guide to lesser chapters?"
