Wait another month or so and I'm sure there will be the full armory and a starting race that is a marine.

Full armory?  Do you mean a full set of armor plus
, or having a full list of WH40K armor (which would include Scout armor, Artificer armor, and TDA as well as the power armor) available, possibly at different smithing levels?

1) that screenie of a BT is using Magicak... Magicka is witchcraft... Abhor the Witch Destroy the Witch. Therefore: He's not real

2) Those mods are buggy as hell... And some weapons look pretty terrible

That was the only screenshot of a BT I could find; most screenshots I found were focusing on the half-traitor Blood Raven armor set. He's probably going out to find a good place to burn that staff.

2) Those mods are buggy as hell... And some weapons look pretty terrible

I'm not sure about the mods being buggy or not (I've only played Skyrim on the Xbox 360 to date), so I hope that that's coming from experience with those particular mod - I fail to see how there's much room for bugs at all in these mods. Also, yes, some of the weapons (primarily, IMO, the sword variants) are done relatively poorly, but they seem more than sufficient to me.

PC Skyrim player here. Yes those mods are buggy (as are a vast majority of the more complicated ones). Equipping the Chainsword crashes the game as of the build I tried only weeks ago.  Some of the armour perks, under certain circumstances, will perminantly alter your character's status (even after unequipping, re-equipping, and/or removing the mod from your game). Etc..

Not to mention, the more mods you have installed, the more likely they will conflict and cause errors.  I've had the 40k mods just randomly close my game with no warning or apparent trigger.

Anywho, this is getting off topic.

... You know you're a Black Templar when you start pushing your Black And White Zeal over to other IP/Universes! (Ex: Skyrim ;) )

You know you are a Templar when...

...you watch ANY of the alien or predator films and feel the rage building at the unclean filth before you.

...sit in church and say For the Emperor instead of Amen at the end of the prayer.

...know all four vows names off by heart.

...know that despite being the oldest codex going we can still give these new kids a slap.

I can top this. You know you are one of the Emperors Finest when...

... You sit watching Kingdom of Heaven, with the Sword you bought from a Castle across your lap, thinking how much better a few battle brothers could defend those walls.

... when asked your religious beliefs in the last census you answered 'Other' and in the box that said please specify you wrote 'I worship the Golden Throne of the God Emperor of Mankind.'

... You cannot even look into the eyes of any street performers claiming to perform magic because you abhor the witch.

... our lists start with 'EC - 140'

...Your 1k Tourney list starts as such, and ends with Land Raider Crusader.

...When the idea of not taking a Land Raider Crusader at 1k pts offends you.

...When fighting a melta spam army you take 3 Various Land Raiders and only lose 1, in 6 turns.

...When you kill more terminators in close combat with chain swords than your allies terminator squad. (Both enemy and ally had TH/SS and FNP)

...When your EC has the blood of every major Warlord everyone in your LGS has ever run on his blade.

...When down to one Land Raider Crusader left on an objective game you use it to chase off two squads of infantry and drive the enemy from the final objective, which wins you the game.

This.  Cycling between my armies so I don't have a lot of games for any particular army per se, but as of 6th Edition hitting, I'm  7 wins, 2 ties, 0 losses with Black Templars. So yes, we can still slap these new codexes around quite nicely  ;)

You know you're a Black Templar when...

... you have more Tac Marine models than any other in all of your armies and a majority have a Chainsword in one hand.

... your tactical answer to any opponent is "get up close and hit them in the face with my Chainsword"

... you see another Chapter's Chaplain and say "Oh look, the one marine in that army actually following the Emperor's Will!"

...When you suggest to Graham McNeil on Twitter that he should make us a new Codex "for old times sake"...

And do not get a reply :sad.:

I know of this tweet because I both retweeted it and replied... Unless two people had done that now, anyway ;)

Lol, yeah, that was me. I did notice the support from The Angry Templar :)

You need not improve on perfection, brother.

That's probably why we're having to wait so long...

In fairness brother if the rumours of the foul Daemons Codex bear out to be true I'd want nobody else but Mr K to give us the new Codex, the Daemons rumours are just dripping with flavour :)

Imagine what he could do with the Imperiums Crusaders...

A bit off topic, but while the Daemon rumors may be "dripping with flavour" but they're also flooded with too much bookkeeping and over the top randomness. My Apoc game last night was a great example of the "fun" of "randomness" - every player turn a meteor (S8 AP2 Large Blast) was ruled to hit an objective, "randomly" determined with a D6, and then always scattering a full 3D6 (that is, no "bullseyes"). Well guess what, each and every one of these "random" meteors (total of 10) landed on my team's side of the table, for example killing one of my Predators and stunning another - on the first turn before anyone even got to move. Later in the game I lost at least two marines and our team's Eldar player lost several models to a meteor as well, can't remember if the GK lost anything.

And now the Daemon codex has stuff like Warp Storms and Instability, things that can utterly make or wreck a game and slow down the game while at it. Besides, Kelly still deserves a not-so-kind "gift" from Nurgle for coming up with the ridiculous abomination that is the Heldrake (in terms of rules).

You know you're a Black Templar when for a lack of fliers you chase your opponent's Vendetta and Vulture around the table with your 2 LRCs taking the Vulture down and leaving the other with only one hull point at game's end.

...Queue the Benny Hill theme?

Honestly, No matter how I picture that, I still laugh. That would be great to witness, hahaha

In my view BT don't worship emperor as a god - only as a master of mankind, they are still loyal to the teachings of the Emperor from the pre-heresy...

Btw, I know I'm a BT because when I see BA librarian I get a nasty rash on my fist which needs scratching....

You know you're a Black Templar when ...

... you play Black Templars not because you want to, but because you have to.

Being a Templar player isn't about a Codex or a ruleset, it's about a mindset.
