When your LGS always assigns you the same 'secret mission' objectives: - 'kill the enemy psykers.'

When this is in fact the only mission objective you actually aim for.

When you read the secret objective aloud, it comes out as 'Burn all the enemy witches!'

When you read the secret objective in your head, it comes out as 'Burn ALL the witches. Including that librarian over there. He looks twitchy and his eyes are too close together. Make it look like an accident!'

When the reason you approve of the new Titans are that they are

- Knights

- Chainsword wielding Knights

and you plan to get at least one and A LOT of chain.

CHAIN FOR THE CHAINSWOOOOOORD!

When you're sad that the Knights don't have the option for Dual Chainswords.

...when F**********CCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKK THE RULES ! ! !

When no one knows what your army is: "oh, you're playing Raven Guard? Or are they Iron Hands?"

...When you say: "I play Black Templars", and then you receive: "So you play Space Marines", and then you start a Crusade! è,..,é

You start setting up for a game with a very chatty opponent, where you play a mixed force from the C: SM, all in the same non-standard paint scheme and before you manage to explain what is what, he starts guessing what they are, often getting it wrong. You place four tens of Templars on the table, in that different color scheme. Your opponent goes "Oh, so these are Tactical Squads? Do you combat squad them?", at which point you look at him as if he uttered a heresy, raise your brow and without losing eye contact start putting tens of Neophytes by the Crusader Squads.

Your opponent goes through several emotions on his face and goes "Oooh..." and falls silent for good several minutes.

...when you found how to still use the Sword Bretheren in 6th.

By still using, I mean using the Models from GW with the amount of special weapons on the models.

Process:

- Buy Sword Bretheren.

- Paint Sword Bretheren.

- Select 10 Vanguards.

- 5 would be useless randoms marines, including Sergeant. (take what you want for them)

- 5 others will be your Sword Bretheren.

- Deploy.

- Combat Squad your Vanguards.

- Trash the first 5 random vang.

- PLAY YOUR SWORD BRETHEREN. =D

When glancing through threads on Bolter and Chainsword, you notice a block of red text and immediately drop what you're doing to read the inspirational words of Brother Honda.

...when you realize zeal is the only difference between our "You know you're a..." thread and all the others.

Still going strong and still the best recruiting thread ever. It's what got me to become a Templar. <true story>

..when you think that ZEAL should always be written with capital letters.

And with the BLOOD of our enemies.

You know there really needs to be a way to like something more then once.

When you spend hours on end read through this amazing thread and decide that you are going to form your own crusade...

When you see a fellow Dornian Brother go Crusading and your heart of hearts rejoices because you know that the witch and heretic will suffer, the xeno will die while your blackclad Brothers will yell with you at the top of their lungs

+++ NO PITY! NO FEAR! NO REMORSE! +++

When you've just completed your first templar and posting him on this thread makes you feel like giving a test in school despite that you are 30+ years of age
