When people talk about bringing Terminators and you look and see you have about 23 and 13 are build for hand to hand.

When you look and see that your remaining 10 terminators still have 4 assault cannons modeled into the two squads. :P

You are drinking with a mate, but leave your gaming bag at your local store just in case any challengers appear, thus allowing you to accept any challenge, no matter the shots.

When you had to rearrange the squads for all your Terminators and purchase 4 additional boxes or Terminators to be able to have legal squads again...

I had 5 squads of Terminators 2 of which are Assault and 3 squads of 6 which have 2 Assault Cannons and 2 magnetized Cyclone Missile Launchers, and no Sergeant with a Power Weapon, had to purchase 4 more to get 9 5-man Terminator Squads, 4 which will be Assault Terminators and 5 will be Tactical Terminators... which will probably be rarely used :(

Land Raiders can crack super heavies at far longer distances than a Knight can.

Even the Land Raiders Redeemer and Crusader, which lack lascannons? (I'm asking this as someone with very little gaming experience, and is seeking advice on what to build for my army.)

Well those tanks can't... they can crack light tanks though with 1 HP by smashing them with their bulk...

You know you're a Templar when even your Land Raiders and Vindicators kill tanks... in Assault :D

When in a 3 way match against guard and orks you lose every unit except your tech brother and LRC who go in to punish the enemy, killing or disabling a Chimera, 3 trukks, and their units while... for lack of a better word tanking no less then 4 demo charges and close to a dozen power claw attacks before the orks decide to charge with their bike warboss and squad, scoring a glancing hit which send the tech brother into a fit of righteous ZEAL where he bursts from the LRC and kills two bikers with his flamer/ plas then challenges the warboss and shrugs off every hit and take the boss's head. Meanwhile the LRC moves flat out and it's machine spirit cores the guard player's Lemon Russ warlord's tank with the mulitmelta and gets an explosion grabbing kill the warlord from both forces in the last turn. Still a technical loss according to the objectives, but a moral victory none the less.

Not the first time the LRC has claimed Kill the Warlord either, I had a similar result in a local tourney against a guard tank commander too. Oddly that was a 2 v 2 with guard/orks too :P

You need to write this as a narrative and add it to your crusade backstory.  That's incredible.

When you give your whole army Hatred for a turn, and still get to feel the joy of stacking Rage on top of it when your opponent forgets about that whole "Righteous Zeal thing."

It's good to be a Templar. :D

When facing a Raven Guard player who brought 2 full facts squads, 1 dev squad, Vanguard with jump and storm shield with special melee weapons shrike, a dev squad, stormwing, and a 5 man bike squad with an assault bike. Oh an a witch traveling with centurains. At the end of five he had the witch, a centurain, 3 dev squad members a storm talon with one hullpoint, a storm talon with one hullpoint point. And you have 3 out of your four land raiders. The two squads of crusaders, both of which killed squads in combat, one kill the Honor guard and the ones holding the objective, vindicator, both storm Talons, and a sciaran. 2500 pts. I brought armor fist.

When you watch your foe put down two Null Rod Inquisitors and a Culexus assassin declaring that you shall not be able to use any psychic powers in the game before you deploy your first Black Templars Unit with a huge smile on your face.

When you have to ask Grimaldus politely to stop making saves as he spent five rounds in a challenge with a keeper of secrets while only at one wound left, making every invuln and FNP roll (servitors) but the Knight couldn't stomp because my models were too close. As soon as Grimaldus agreed to take a break the knight rolled a six for his stomp and ended the game.

I see you hate witches.  I hate witches, too.

If you havin warp problems I feel bad for you  son , I  got 99 problems but a witch aint one.  ...... Hes dead you see

When you refer to overwatch and the Templar Anger Management Phase. I seriously wonder why people still attempt this....like seriously.bkill 1 guy and I lose his 3 attacks. But the other 9(if small squad) gain 9 more attacks. So all you are doing is giving me a net of 6 attacks. If it is a 15 to 16 man squad then I really don't understand.

When you cant paint black (because you suck at painting)  , but you  can work well with nuln oil shading , so you pick the darkest grey possible and go  Ham on  almost 3k points of Black Templars in about 4 weeks
#markedwulfcrusade

When you  build and paint your marshal with the Sigismund model and a Templar Brethern helmet in  4 hours  and people still compliment you  about it.

when you  change your event list at the last minute because you completed your marshal

When you know you're about to get your first Titan and immediately think to yourself, and say to others, "Such a war machine, venerable as it is, must have proof that it has fought besides the Imperium's finest." Immediately, your friends, being loyal and steadfast, offer bits from their various chapters to mark the Titan as having served besides them.

Upon contemplation, because this is serious business here folks, you ask if anybody has any Black Templar bits, and sadly nobody can offer any.

Stricken with dismay, as I've used all of the ones I once had, you turned to the internet because no claim to loyalty and martial pride is complete without the sacred cross of Dorn's knights.

True Story: Bought a sword insignia for the side from the old chapter sprue but if anybody wants to offer a more appropriate bit, I'm taking offers :)
