Whoa, great job on the kitbashed Eversor, buddy! Regarding the head, do you have any more of RSJake's resin skull heads? One of those would probably be the perfect head for that model.

As always, keep up the amazing work!

Oh, btw, you definitely have to head over to the Gods of the Arena thread at some point, and share some additional info about Malek Deimos and his merry band of rogues, alright? ;)

So today I had these on my desk

Space Marine Venerable Dread

And these along with another box of Cadians.

Been working on the dreads tonight for a while but don't have a lot to show yet. Will get back to them in the morning and update with more pics then.

Sorry guys but that dread was brutally set upon for parts to disperse across three different dreads.

So I've decided to have two Dreads armed with dual dccw. In game these will provide a shield for my Alpha and the other two who will have more ranged weaponry.

Early WIP on the DCCW Dread.

2nd Ranged Dread to stand alongside Voorhees. Ignore the mess of poster tack on these obviously GS will be tidier.

And using the new Dreads Torso on the Alpha, looking to add some rib detail to the torso. It's not quite there yet but I think I can make it work.

Let me know what you think folks.

You seem to be just as addicted to building Dreads as I am -- I was seriously baffled that you would be adding yet more of these guys to your force, but your update has really put those worries to rest, buddy, because those guys ROCK!

Each of them is brilliant: I love the aggression in the first Dread's pose and the kitbashed skull head (I would however get rid of the tacky decoration on the right claw, to be honest). The kitbashed head on the second Dread is a thing of beauty even now -- what an extremely creative use of bitz! And your alpha Brute seems to have much improved by the new torso! Any chance of a view from the left?

Anyway, these guys are amazing! I can barely restrain myself from picking up one of those SW Dread kits right away! ;)

Thanks guys, I love the idea of the Dreadnought nothing screams 40k louder IMHO. The Helbrute Dataslate gave me the option to run 5 in a formation and I jumped at it. :)

Kraut, I meant to add in my last post that the ccw will be replace to be more inline with my other Dreads, so I won't be doing anything with that just now......possibly. :) I'll get an alternate view of the Alpha as soon as I can. He's just tacked together again at the moment.

For now though, Nighthunters really came through for me after offering to BUILD me a cowering Guardsman for the Gorehounds base. An awesome gesture most appreciated. I hope I can return the favour at some point buddy. In the meantime here's a pic of him in his new home.

I've decided that this week is build week and the next few weeks will be paint week as I keep getting carried away buying/building stuff. The Traitor Guard will be worked on but only after I've finished a few World Eater units. I'm having to try and discipline myself as my mound of grey plastic is growing by the week.

On the note of Traitor Guard, I picked up a box of Bullgryns to go with the two boxes of Cadians and the Box of Tempestus Scions I have. I also got a heavy weapons team cheaply on eBay. It's starting to look like my Traitors could be a side army all of their own. As I've said before I want them to be very recent converts to chaos as such there won't be a lot of crazy mutations or even all that much spiky bits. I'll be trying to show their allegiance through the paint scheme more than anything. I wasn't sure how I was going to build the Bullgryns but after seeing how similar they are to the Locust Mauler from Gears of War I'm thinking a nice chain Maul and possibly some Ogre Kingdom helmets could work. Although I do like the creepy masks they have as standard.

I worked the idea of my Havocs a little more as well. Still have 4 to build but I'm happy with the progress so far.

As always comments and crits welcome. :)

The Havocs are coming along really nicely, buddy! I love the pose of the Heavy Bolter guy in the first picture -- I've never seen a model that captured the weight of the weapon in quite such an exquisite way. Are the arms and weapon from the Sternguard kit? If so, I may just have to shamelessly steal this idea ;)

For the Bullgryns, I suppose I'd keep the gas mask heads -- especially if you're going for a less corrupted look. They are a perfect option of having the Bullgryns look physically uncorrupted and totally evil at the same time ;)

One suggestion: What about adding some additional, crude armour plates (ork armour plates would be great for this) to the Bullgryns here and there? I think that would make for a slightly more unkempt, less regimented look. So while it wouldn't actually make them look more corrupted, they would seem slightly more feral. Anyway, just an idea.

Looking forward to seeing your next update! :)

Sorry for the delay in replying guys. I do have something to show tonight though. I've painted something! Haha I've base coated some Zerkers and a couple of terminators. What I want to show though is a couple more ruins and the base for the Gorehound. Still WIP but I've spent a few hours on the base, the ruins were rather quickly painted, I will go back and add a few more details to them but they're good enough for the tabletop just now.

And now onto the base and a couple of little details I've been adding.

Still WIP but I'm liking how it's going.

Ha thanks DeathspectreSgt. :)

Tanith Ghost it is a Knight faceplate. I'd bought from a bits site to see how big it was and thought it would be a nice wee trophy on the Gorehounds base.

Looking great, the cowering guardsman is ace! The colour palette used will really show the big guy off. Liking the ruins too, I need more scenery too lol

Nice to see paint, but you know the baying crowd demands MOAR!!

On my Instagram I recently ran a giveaway for one of my followers. The winner got to choose a terminator model built by myself to his/her spec. The guy that won sent me some sketches of what he'd like and I started working on it. Not got a great deal to show but here's a little teaser whil I wait for some bits from Zinge industries. The guy wanted a Renegade rather than all out Chaos Termi so I decided to cut up some SW and DW legs to begin with. I'll probably remove the skull from the DW leg as the other one is much cooler. The blob of GS was just to get him to stand for the pics. It will be sorted.

Liking where he is going, hard to get nice movement in tda, think you have achieved that well. Are they deathwing legs?

Sorry - read it properly this time about the legs....eye/fail

Well, long time no post but real life has been a bit crazy and not always in a good way so not had a lot of time for the hobby. Had some time tonight so decided to tackle a conversion/kitbash Id had in mind for a bit. So with Through the Never my Blu Ray and another daemon prince kit to build a companion piece for my BloodThirster conversion. So here's the WIP of my Keeper of Secrets.

As usual let me know what you think. I went with the Carnifex claws as a little nod to the original KoS model from way back.
