But I did feel it was appropriate. I would like to thank The Shadow Guard and all the other brothers here for their inspiring work. Without you I would have never taken up the brush and started painting. With that said I just came back from my gaming club tournament, called Hammer in the New Year. Unfortunately I didn't do that well. Running 4th edition Deathwing versus very dakka armies But I did bring some honor to the Chapter. http://i.imgur.com/erSFwl.jpg I barely beat a beautiful Daemon army by one point and a gorgeous Necron army by 2 points. I'm very proud about this and I have all of you to thank for it. So again thank you for motivating me to actually paint my army! FOR THE LION! If it makes you feel any better, I plan on attending a tournament at the end of February which will require 2k of painted Multiwing. Sleepless times ahead since at present the only unit that is done is my 1st squad of Deathwing. The unit will consist of a Veteran Sergeant with Power Sword, Combat Shield, and Bolt Pistol, 2 veterans with Power Swords and Bolt Pistols, one Veteran with a flamer, and one Veteran with a Lascannon. Points: 165 (This unit is actually my Kill Team for my local GW store's grand opening event. So I have to finish it by this saturday!) VOW COMPLETE! Unfortunately I was 5 minutes late to the tournament cause I was putting the finishing touches on the squad right up until the deadline. Oh well!
