A couple of things to highlight: 1.CHECK YOUR RESULTS: All previous participants, please look at your oaths and outcomes in the master table which is posted in the very first page of this thread as well the January oaths page (page 47). Sadly, despite the brain twisting and nail biting saga of updating and modifying the table, you can't see it in all it's glory in this basic skin. If there are any mistakes (likely because I hadn't been able to find your completion posts) please let me know. I will correct them at the end of next week. It appears that the table on page 1 is corrupted ...so check on the one on page 47... 2. JANUARY CLOSING DATE EXTENDED (Friday 22 February 2013): Due to the unexpected delay in the board returning to active service and the previous extension for the December oaths we have extended the closing date for January oaths as well as to celebrate the release of the new Dark Angels Codex and models the dealine will be extended to Midnight GMT Friday the 22nd of February 2013. The February Oaths will commence on the 23rd of February and close at Midnight GMT 22nd of March 2013, one week before the closure of the LPC 2013. 3. Additional Ways to earn more White Pearls: There are now more ways to earn additional white pearls than you can shake a stick at! Read carefully and plan your strategy. I Master Matthius vow for the month of January to complete my failed vow of Deathwing Terminators, also to assemble and paint 2 Rhinos. I hope to increase my vow this month with the new releases. I look forward to increasing my Deathwing to a full 20 squads (eventually). So this will also coincide with my PtR vow that I have made. Praise the LION! I shall not fail!!! I vow to stay true to this task, and complete this by the end of january or sooner and bring honor to the first legion. This will be in the Angels of Vengeance successor Colors. Okay, so for the month of January, I vow to line-highlight, paint touch up, and power effect Venerable Dreadnought Gathrael's power fist. I will also matte varnish the bits where the paint keeps rubbing off and gloss varnish all the shiny parts (in this case, gems, I think I'll give his lenses a shot, the power effect on the fist, and finally, as was requested, the wax on the purity seals). Edit: No, you can't access the galleries right now, they have been giving the admins problems and they are waiting on some info on potential fixes. They knew people were itching to get back on here though, so they wanted to open the forums without that functionality yet. I will get an image posted as soon as we have access again. I am also vowing to use the bits from the box to turn my previously completed tartaros pattern terminators in a command squad using the moulded banner and the apothecarion bits because otherwise I'd never do it. I have noted the mistakes in the tables with the following battlebrother's accomplishments being not noted for December: Furioso-prime, elphillo and grotsmasha. My humble apologies and I shall visit chamber 42 for penance soon.... Unfortunately I will not be able to update the tables for fear of corruption as the board at present does not support BB Codes as yet (see the corrupted table on post #2 on page 1). We must wait for our own Lord of terra (Argos) to fix that in the next few weeks. I will however update the changes in my own table so that as soona s the BB Codes are made ready all will be as I should be. With the addition of the above three completions the completion rate for December goes up to 83.3% which makes me a very happy shadow... You now have 42 submissions for the LPC 2013. I somehow managed to update one entry and then didn't want to mess with the code so please be patient. Remember the significant additional ways of gaining additional white pearls... But I did feel it was appropriate. I would like to thank The Shadow Guard and all the other brothers here for their inspiring work. Without you I would have never taken up the brush and started painting. With that said I just came back from my gaming club tournament, called Hammer in the New Year. Unfortunately I didn't do that well. Running 4th edition Deathwing versus very dakka armies But I did bring some honor to the Chapter. http://i.imgur.com/erSFwl.jpg I barely beat a beautiful Daemon army by one point and a gorgeous Necron army by 2 points. I'm very proud about this and I have all of you to thank for it. So again thank you for motivating me to actually paint my army! FOR THE LION!
