elmo Posted April 30, 2022 Author Share Posted April 30, 2022 Next up in the painting corner is an entry for the BnCS Dark Angels Forum Painting Competition. The theme is past, present and future of the Dark Angels, so entries are to be an iteration of the same model, 3 times, showing its progress through time. Competition will start 1st May and the deadline will be the end of August. I have gone with a Dark Angel from Scout, to Assault Veteran and finally a Contemptor Dreadnought. Scout: This is a standard SM Scout model with no extra DA bling. Assault Squad Veteran: This is based on a DA modified version of the Blood Angel Dominion Zephon. Contemptor Dreadnought: This is from the Talons of the Emperor box set I bought a few years ago and has added DA bling. elmo Posted July 22, 2022 Author Share Posted July 22, 2022 Raced through the scouts - the hot weather helped as I woke up early and managed to get an hour extra painting in in the mornings :) Added a little battle scarring to the paintwork on the 2 Contemptors too Up next week - I found another Contemptor - magnetised last week and priming over the weekend.
