Man, I remember building the 3rd edition speeder and cursing the world. The "updated" version is still a pain but slightly less so.

Good luck on that.

My Typhoon is one of those... At least this one is the most recent kit so it should be simpler to do

  • 4 weeks later...

Land Speeder

Door panels and weapon options magnetised, meaning I can run a regular, Tornado, or Typhoon one as required.

Assault Terminators and Techmarine WIP

Four BA Assault Terminators. Opting for lightning claws for now, but will be magnetising.

I'll also be magnetising the Techmarine once I decide on what gun to give him (as he's also be used in 30k).

Techmarine

The custom forgebolter can be ran as either a stormbolter/combiweapon in 30k if need be, and I've also magnetised the arm in case I want to change it down the line.

All fairly straightforward really. The arms will be magnetised to fit the previously completed Cataphractii Terminators, and the Sergeant is the Limited Edition 2008 White Dwarf subscription Veteran.

Reclusiarch! I'm headed to ol' Blighty to visit my in laws soon, and despite visiting for 16 years, never made it to Warhammer World. This year, though, I'm going!

I know you live close enough to visit WW semi regularly from previous posts.

Any recommendations for a Texan in Nottingham for a couple of days, with one of them focused on Warhammer world?

Um, good question. I visit maybe twice a year for a few days, with most of it spent gaming at WHW or in a themed pub or two in centre of Nottingham  I'll have a think about what else is nearby, but perhaps @W.A.Rorie might have some advice too as he visited there from the US recently.

As for WHW you're bound to enjoy it. Bugman's has recently been renovated so that may be a good spot for lunch, and the museum will eat up a good few hours too. It's also worth checking the exclusives on the off chance there's something of interest that you wont get elsewhere.

Veteran Marine

I'll end up using him as a Sergeant or a Veteran in a Command Squad. Or something in 30k.
