The Sgt is cool  and the load outs on the squad members are great.

Cheers brother!

I must admit, I hate the standard Scout models. For dudes that spend months prior to invasion behind enemy lines performing hit and run missions or infiltrating an enemy stronghold they are awfully naked. Figured I'd make mine a little more durable. Got some things on them that need cleaning up but I'm really happy with how they've come out, especially the actual Sniper and the Sergeant.

Small update ahead.

Started work on my PA Centurion (can run him with Captain or Chapter Master rules).

Also I rescued an old and broken Predator as best as I could.

She's a bit battered but once I've given her a clean up and a fresh coat of paint, I reckon she'll fit right in.

When I saw the first pic of the centurion wheres his leg.

Haha, one legged and still going to war. The Malevolent way.

Another fluffy update. I've never ran a Librarian before and figured this edition and the new release would be a good time to start. I have however kept it suitably fluffy for the Marines Malevolent.

Codicier Caligula wanted more than anything in this Emperor forsaken galaxy to scratch his armoured finger tips into the constant scabbing around the neuro-control wires rammed into the back of his head, yet he knew if he did, he was a dead man. He couldn't fault his superiors for their caution, nor his brother-marines for their suspicion. He was, after all, a mutant freak, spawned of the warp and good for nothing more than expiring. Still, he'd strive to be as useful as possible in the eyes of the magnificent Emperor of Mankind and to the cause of the Chapter. The humming servo-skull above his left shoulder was also a stark reminder not to tamper with his inhibitors, if he did, he'd die an excruciatingly painful death as his mind was over loaded on its own psychic power and his brain scrambled until he was a mindless drooling cadaver. Plugged directly into the back of his skull, tapped into the fiber wires that snaked into his spinal column was the buzzing little familiar. Vicious stabbing claws and whickering mechanisms constantly chirped and nipped at his exposed skull like some vicious watchman. It regulated his brain waves, scanning constantly for any outward displays of unsanctioned psychic use. Small infractions incurred an electric shock straight down into his head, anything more than that and he could expect to be attacked by the tiny mechanical beast. If he fought back, he was dead.

The air was thick with chemicals, the caustic fog blistering his lips and throat. He coughed, a wracking, heaving thing and the servo-skull buzzed ever closer to his head. He was a tool, a weapon, and as such, weapons did not need breathing apparatus. The Centurion had matter-of-factually told him that he didn't need a helmet, if he couldn't breathe then he was weak and the weak deserve to die. It's something Caligula would never forget. He supposed it wasn't too bad an existence, despite the abuse at the hands of his own brethren he was allowed to bring death to the foes of the Imperium. He was afforded all the time he pleased in the cold cloisters of the sole Librarium in possession of the Chapter between warzones and they allowed him his utterly devastating Force blade, the heavy killing weapon a reassurance that despite their cold attitude towards him, he was still valued in the Chapter.

It was a struggle, this life, but it was one Caligula could appreciate. After all, his brothers were merely afraid of his untapped power and he couldn't blame him. It scared him too. The servo-skull twitched ever closer still.

I've been a busy little bumble bee.

Do not fear, all barrels will be drilled and I have an ambitious target of January for having everything painted as that's when I play in my first Tournament.

Thanks for looking in, lads.

Yick, that's a whole lot of gray. I can never have that much stuff ready to go at once. Too intimidating :P

Anyway, I'm not a fan of the long-rifle Heavy Bolters, but I think the long-rifle Multi-Melta is rather clever :)

I'm seeing a whoooole lot of mold lines and clip-tags. ermm.gif

Cheers man, I've got my work cut out for me, that's for sure.

It is an intimidating amount of grey but if I don't pressure myself I won't get them done. The long-rifle bolters were an experiment that's sort of grown on me, I've received mixed feeling about them in my gaming group but I feel they fit with the rag-tag force. The multi-melta conversion was also born out of of 3am madness.

The majority of the mold lines and clip marks have been filed as flat as I can without actually warping the shape of the model, the clips are unfortunately really obvious despite them being flat, I'll see what I can clean up though, I've noticed the pictures pick a heck of a lot more out than my dodgy eyes do!

Personally I dont see why the eye lenses would glow. Give the enemy summat to aim at at night! For me that would be a BIG no no!!

Other than that......looking good Brother!

Glory and Hate!

I've kept black lenses across the entire force to convey how cold the MM are, but black lenses in black helms doesn't work for me. Figured I'd try some different effects to spruce it up a bit, plus Terminators aren't exactly the stealthiest :p

Glory & Hate, brother!

But i also agree that terminators, Stealth, Pshhh they just walk into the fray leave stealth to the lowly scouts! So it comes down to your choice, looks good brother.

Painted my leader tonight, only thing left to do is decals, which I do in bulk at various stages in the project. He usually wields the Primarchs Wrath, so I went for a bolter that's of a different pattern to his brothers and with very spartan ornamentation. Hope he fits the Malevolent bill.
