Glory and Hate Brother! Cheers man, they are a joy to paint. The problem with the chest is that if I add too much colour in it takes away from the MM scheme and makes them seem more Imperial FIst. A lot of people hate the way they look, but having built them and now painted one, if you leave off the ridiculous crotch plates and tacky ornamentation they don't look half bad. For me, at least, they've earned their weight in gold on the table. I had my reservations about them to begin with but figured I'd weather the storm and see what the fuss was all about and a lot of it just seems like reluctance to embrace the new, same thing happened with the Storm Raven and now I see them absolutely everywhere. I use them fluff appropriately, if my Crusade doesn't have access to Dominators (Terminators) or Evocates (Dreadnoughts) then they use JAEGER-warsuits to plug the gap. The exhaust stacks are how I do my flamer/melta nozzles and it seemed to fit well! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

One Contemptor and 2 Standard, but they'll be switched out for Contemptor's at a later date. +UPDATE+ So, the tournament I'm participating in for January is narrative driven and each army starts with an Inquisitor and a 200pt Killteam and the army will escalate and grow based on what objectives you take and hold per game. Here is my work in progress, Inquisitor Sirah Alahan. Now with all these tanks and transports and dreadnoughts turning up in the 3rd Crusade, it seems we need someone to take charge of them all. So here's my Techmarine with grav pistol. I'm also sick of not having an objectives to place during my games, having to rely on odd bits of scenery. So, I picked up some of these rather awesome models to be my objectives. I'm looking forward to running the Techmarine with his Sternguard friends, at least until I get him some H.Bolter servitors.
