Khârn was found on a large mountain of bodies. I thought Sigi only foungth one-on-one's.

(Eh, Khârn's fate is not so unlike that of Rogal Dorn. Only that Khârn was resurrected/saved after his body had been salvaged.)

Who were those bodies? World eaters? Militia? Blood Angels? Imperial Fists?

We have no idea about anything that happened when Khârn lost his life the first time. Sigismund could have duelled with Khârn amidst a IF vs. WE slaughterhouse, and perhaps when Khârn fell that was enough to tip the balance in that specific encounter making the IF win ground momentarily...

Although I believe in After Desh'ea[, it says that Khârn is originally Terran.

EDIT: Although I think Betrayer gives a specific province in a one-sentence mention. Wouldn't swear on it though.

Doesn't specify, just says the region is mountainous.

Judging by the accent used in the Butcher's Nails audiobook, I wouldn't be surprised if Khârn came from the Urals.

Well Khârn dies on Terra so that should happen and definitely opens a possibility for either Amit or Sigismund to take them down. Or he could get run over by another Land Raider(or was it a Rhino?). At the same time, they can also begin a showdown and then just get separated by the flow of battle, or something like that.

It could be part of the 'sending out Sigi to beat the crap out of Traitor Legions' champions' thing.

How can you die on top of a pile of bodies anyway? It's obvious they dumped him there.

Well, you kill about...twenty loyalist Space Marines would make a decent sized pile, so let's go with twenty, except your glorious victory for the Blood God is tainted by the fact that you were fighting twenty ONE loyalists. And the last guy is unable to carry off his twenty battle brothers for internment.

There you go, dead on top of a pile of bodies.

Sigismund would rip Khârn's heart out = Fact

I don't see Khârn being beaten. He's, without a doubt, the most lethal Space Marine in the block. I have the feeling he'll throw himself in the battle, not caring about taking little wounds, and after a gruesome slaughter, losing consciousness and eventually dying.
