As mentioned on Wf's thread yesterday, I had started to prime my second Baneblade/Hellhammer and here she is primed in my standard green spray ready for the ETL to start. Now... what next. hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Good stuff! Priming in a base colour definitely saves a lot of time, maybe if I get any more big models I'll have to get serious and look into an airbrush too. I'm a bit old school and suspicious of new things (must be the Ad Mech in me). Are you missing one of the front hull turret's HBs?

Let you into a secret... I don't have an airbrush. it is far too much like hard work ;)

 

I have found a spray can that it the right colour :)

I have left one of the HBs off to make it easier to paint.

So this colour spray wouldn't happen to be the same as Catachan/Castellan Green by any chance..?

 

I thought that might be the case but as I didn't see it in pictures I was worried you'd misplaced it!

It is, tamiya NATO green TS61. The nearest thing to catachan/castellen green I have found. I think I mentioned it earlier in this thread.

Looks like I'll need to find myself a spray can of Tamiya NATO Green as well as some magnets! Of course it'd be a waste to get a whole can just for the few of vehicles I have left so I'll probably need to get some more tanks to make it worthwhile...

On another note, that spray really looks the part! For something this big, having a spray can would help out greatly.

A shameful amount of time to leave some lovely FW artillery awaiting paint, you can only appease their machine spirits by finishing them quickly

The Medusas/Basilisks are ready for priming :)

The yellow bits is Milliput - there where a couple of Grand Canyon sized gaps to fill...

Just need to sort the crew out in the next couple of days.

As if I did not have enough to do - I saw these and could not resist them for a Rough Riders squad :(

 

Just need a bit of IG bling and there we go... Also bought 3 sets of Bullgryn armour for my Ogre conversions. More for the painting queue ;)

Those bikes are cool, the legs look right too. I'll be looking forward to seeing them worked on!
