After my chappy, I've made another attempt with GS... Try to minimize the use of it though cos I'm a nOOb for it

Who's this guy? Vaguely reminds me of somebody... hmm.. no, it's gone.

 

Excellent work on this unknown character Master A. The greenstuff is really nicely done. Starting small maybe but it's lightyears ahead of my skill level. (doesn't say much, I'm in absolute zero!) :lol:

Thanks! That's indeed a lot of kits... I've accumulated them on the past 6months. Result of the dedication on a website where I can find 2nd hand stuff... You notice that they are all on sprue ;)

 

At the end it's 100€ spared comparing to GW prices.

 

Finally the evening/night has turned well : 3 drop pods have been mounted. I'm particulary happy because I've regularly improved my mounting skills :1h20 for the first, 1h10 for the second and 58min for the third :D new record! :lol:

Thanks to the sales of bitzarium (40 symbols at 0,19€ each) and my personal accumulation along the years, I have enough DA symbols to put on each doors of every pod + the 2 crusaders.

 

The crusaders will take a little more longer because I want to Elmo-lize the turrets to play either a crusader or a redeemer. By the way, Elmo, I'll need your lights! ;)

In my opinion every Dark Angel player should have a Cypher model for their opponents to use. How else are we going to catch the elusive blighter?

This evening after an afternoon of biking I've found time to spray 3 pods with Angeks green and start the new version of Kephrael.

You know...along those lines, I've recently come across a "liquitex" brand of water-based spraypaint...goes on without primer, covers well, and, being water-based, if you put it on a little heavy (definitely the side on which you should err with this stuff), the finish smooths out as it dries!  It truly is hobby-grade, no krylon here!  (better not be, at $12/can, I buy mine at michaels)   And they have nearly as many colors as citadel has pots of paint, I have a royal blue (for my sisters), DA green, and DW bone on hand ATM, no brush strokes on my tanks!  Now I just need a nice gray for my IG tanks...

Thanks deathspectersgt7. This model is really nice to paint. Simple, not details half hidden that are difficult to reach with your brushes, so with a nice undercoat it goes kinda fast,

 

I've advanced on building transports...

 

Seems that DA are preparing eastern! :lol:
