Great work Master Avoghai! I love that Chaplain. I dig the blue-hued highlights on the Tempest as well (that's my preference with black armor too) and the pods are coming along nicely.

Bah, just spray paint plastic solo cups... I kid. But it does remind me of a funny story - I once played a BA friend when they first got their new shiney codex (we still had last edition). He decided he was going to field AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE in pods yet he owned ONE model for them. It was kill points. I castled up in the corner, held off his initial assault, and pretty much dinged a solo cup or two for a kill point every round (the last edition's near-compulsory 2+ Typhoons made this simple). Needless to say, he presented me a lot of easy points and the win.

Index it is, it's the plastic bionic arm from the devastator box. I've just replaced the chainsword with a ppistol.

Awesome sauce LR - and all of it magnetised too. I like DA LRs in green, there are a lot of bone ones around, nice to see one from the Chapter armoury.

Indeed I prefer the green LR too. I own 2 bone ones, and they were a pain to paint, even with army painter sprays. I also find they lack relief a little.

Thanks! I try to make them unique though keeping a coherency between each other. I keep the third one for ETL but I really want to see them painted all three!

 

To be efficient for the ETL, I keep painting things to not lose the speed.

Servitors with HB : those were painted in one hour for a speed painting demo. I only regret we cannot play a squad of 4 HB anymore :(

Did you glue the pods shut? It's a shame if you did but those are nicely done.

 

I have been remiss and missed the last page... Full green raiders feel like they lack relief too. I added bone in the recessed panels but yours is making me rethink that.

Yup I glue all. I can't stand seeing those doors moving and opening + the interior is a pain to paint... I prefer things simple.
