Well guys,

 

Yesterday was the occasion for a cool game against a guy of my club who never played in v7 yet.

 

Hence I've made a list for trying things... And I chose to play my 2 (yes : two) LS vengeance to see if they were THAT bad...

 

And I can proove it!

My conclusion is that they are not as bad as people say...

 

They are even worse!

The absence of twin link is not only a problem for overheat (please note this wonderful double 1 followed by 2 4+ after using it in triple shot mode).

It's also a problem when you make bad scatter role because it would help to re roll the scatter dice.

 

But really... They DO need this A11 3HP...

Well Guys, an Apocalypse battle is planned for March 7th in my local club.

 

We try to make it nice hence no alliance of tyranids + deamons + Tau Vs BA + SMC + eldar :rolleyes:

 

The opposition will be 2500 of each chaos gods minions (either SMC or FW renegade IG list + deamons of each god) vs 10000pts of my DA. FULL PAINTED

 

Particularity : no super heavy of any sort.

 

Here what my army will look like : please note it miss one DW redeemer, one Nephilim and 2 LS Typhoon...

I'm kinda sad because since it's the first big 40k apo we organize we stand limited to 10000pts hence I have to left home a part of my army :P

 

Next time maybe we'll add some black legion stuff...

Actually no it doesn't necessitate apocalypse game to work.

 

A Caestus is just 25pts more expensive than a Land Raider.

 

It's a very good transport, really solid and hits firepower is intimidating againt elite infantry. The multiple ML can also bring death to light infantry but only once per turn.

 

The 2 "negative points" are :

 

- You will at best charge turn 3 since you are obliged to stay in reserve.

- This flyer cannot provide the anti flyers firepower we lack. All its weapon are explosion hence cannot fire at flyers.

Could you give us a run down on the list (just generically, no need for the "melta bomb" detail).

 

Sheesh, I thought 9k would look like more models...and I'm scared to do a recount of my stuff (which is not fully painted and certainly not to your standard!!)

I've also taken a group photo of all the company with all the options. I've included the unpainted models like some pods or the second deva with grav cannons.

I'm also in the process of mounting assault marines without jumppack.

The missing ttransport (2 pods and 3 RZB are also in the process of bein mounted)
