Brother Guyus Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 Hi guys, I've decided to return to 40k after some 8 year hiatus, and as Crimson fists were the chapter I used to collect (and have always been my favourite chapter), I am returning to painting them. At the minute, I am making and painting a storm raven. I ended up changing the helmet for the one out of the CF command sprue set. After the rest of his combat squad were killed during an ork attack an a breach in the defensive wall, Brother Arroyo honoured their memory by repelling the initial attack and the two subsequent raids alone. Reinforcements arrived in time to help push back the final ork attack. It was during this attack that Arroyo lost his leg, in one on one combat with a killa kan; Arroyo sacrificed his leg to get behind and strike a killing blow to the infernal xenos machine, before the orks finally retreated and the breach was sealed. Brother Guyus Posted April 28, 2013 Author Share Posted April 28, 2013 Just a small update on my sternguard veterans: Twins Oro and Verno, recruited from Blackwater, the twins went through their trials together and are practically inseparable, both having served in the same Deathwatch Kill-team, for the same amount of time.
