Gotta agree, the model looks amazing! I loved the pose even before the paint went on, and now it just looks superb!

Looking well Spiky. I finally finished my brothers sons of horus so now I gotta finish up my command squad, only problem is im working a four hour shift later and forgot my green at my old house so will need to collect it before midnight, they shouldn't take much longer. Also, is there a certain time on the 15th this ends or is it at midnight?

Bases aren't done as I'm still looking for a base I like for them. I'm also working on making a custom transfer sheet with the DR symbol for these guys. Hopefully I'll get it all done sooner rather then later.

Ok so after looking at my tac squad again I realized the sarge was supposed to have a combi weapon and I gave him a bolter. Whoops. So since I don't want to break my vow here's a bad photo of him with a bad combi weapon i took off one of my old SW's and painted in like 20 mins. I'll have to fix the sarge later on. Oh well.

Not happy with the Praetor at the moment. Too much silver, not enough dark angel stuff to make him suit the group. Really wish I'd a helm to give him, and gold is a colour im avoiding for my legion.

@Sister Grim: the 20-strong tacticals are the HH trademark imo. Very well executed and very grim... I believe Massacre will support Salamanders so you must be anxiously waiting for this I bet! :D well done mate.

 

@ Bjorn Stormfang: Dusk Raiders? :woot: a great choice to present Mortarion's own, while keeping a REALLY unique theme! And that Mortarion... Fantastic!

The Centurion REALLY doesn't like his photo taken, took a good 6-7 shots to get this.

I'm actually contemplating getting another rapier battery, with Graviton Cannons ;) but we'll see how that pans out. I've 100 legionnaires I want to get first, and another 3-4 contemptors ;)

Well done AA, a timely completion of a very large and awesome vow! Completion registered and another 1,628pts for the HH faction!!! :) The Avenger is just awesome! Was it difficult to put together? Also the base of the Centurion - where is it from?

Yes I'm quite pleased with the Avenger, I've just taken delivery of some tamiya weathering powder as well so I'm keen to add a little more, although I might test it out on a valkyrie first as I don't want to spoil the paintjob too much

The avenger wasn't too bad considering reports I've had about the stormeagle and thunderhawk. The engine turbines are fairly heavy so you need to get it pinned well or they'll drop off. It goes together well enough and only a little bit of gap filling is required.

the Centurion base is from anvil industries, the city rubble ones, top left.
