Children of the Emperor, death to his foes! Pre Heresy EC

I´m a huge Warhammer 40k and especially Warhammer 30k Fan, and i love Space Marines more than everything else when it comes to 30k. My road to the Emperor´s Children started with the Badab War Books from Forge World when i started to order the new FW Boltgun and MK II, MK III, MK IV Armour Sets. Since then i`m a huge resin crack addic and i have tons of this stuff lying around. When Betrayal was relased it was clear for me, no more 40k exept for one Space Marine Chapter(not sure if Sons of Medusa, Ultramarines, Minotaurs or a own created), from now on only Legions with the Legion Army List.

 

My goal for the Emperor´s Children is a 2000p. List wich is nearly completely assemblid, only the Predator and the 10 Devastormarines w Autocannon are missing(allready bought but not yet assemblied). But since i realy love the 3rd Legion pre herey i will add Fulgrim, an EC Contemptor Dread and the Phoenix Guard over the time aswell.

 

But enjough talking for now, here are some Pictures of the first 30 Marines wich i have  painted till now. The Storm Eagle is basecoated and i will paint some Cataphractiis tonight.

That painting is wicked, lovely shade of purple. I like the weathering too. Pah, 2000pts limit, that's what we all say

thanks for the kind words, it´s allways a great motivator.

 

 

At the moment i´m waiting for the wash on my Cataphractii Terminators to dry, so i can paint them some more.

 

I edited the army list into the first post so you can see what will await you here.

 

@geordie: In the end i think this army will be around 3000p. with round about 100 Astartes. But when i complete the 2000p. list i start on the next Legion.

 

Ether Iron Hands, Imperial Fists or Salamanders.
