Chaeron
Absolutely monstrous conversions: in the best possible way.
Rift Blade
Gotta say, that HellBrute rocks. That's gotta be one of the best conversions I've seen in months. The Jugger Lord is good to but that Hellbrute...WOW!!! Keep it up.
Brother Melice
You are truly insane!!!!! Thumbs up!
GuitaRasmus
Thanks a lot guys! :-) I was sitting in my local gaming club last night at the paint table, and was too tired (I just started my easter vacation today - yay!) to get some serious painting done, so I borrowed a screamer from a friend there, to test out a colour scheme I've had i my mind for some time, using mostly my airbrush. It turned out annoyingly good, and very quick, less than half an hour total. Now, be nice, and tell me that I don't need a speedpainted Tzeentch Daemon army... Brother Melice
Stay on track brother, and hold fast!!! Your insanity is only tolerated by the Inqusition, because of your pally terms with the Fabricator General of Mars. So keep on production!
Forté
That is a thing of beauty. Especially for a "quick paint job". Hatred and envy are such a close thing right now. Looks like the Dark Mech may be gaining some allies.
Excessus
Tzeentch clearly has plans for you...though I really think you shouldn't give up on your current army yet though, hehe
Xin Ceithan
Thank you for making my life miserable by being an awesome converter AND a superb painter ;)
KrautScientist
On the one hand, that screamer looks spectacularly good -- easily one of the best painted ones I have seen so far. Amazing! On the other hand, it somehow feels like your converting and kitbashing talents would be wasted on a Tzeentchian Daemon army, so I'd probably prefer you to stay on track as well ;)
Kriegsmacht
But...but...if you move on to another army how else will I have nightmares every time I see something new in this thread? Oh that's right whatever you make next will be just as awesome and still bring fear to our hearts.
Darth Mustard
I scream You scream We all scream for that screamer !!!
disease
that helbrute is just fantastic. I'm struggling to find all the parts though, i see the legs are sentinel, but cant make out the armour plates covering them. Arms look like from the maulerfiend kit? Crazy good stuff! I'm really impressed with what you did with the juggerlord too. I had considered doing the same for my chosen lord but went foot instead as i wasnt confident in my ability. Clearly a mistake after seeing yours.
GuitaRasmus
Thanks guys - I like the way it looks, but I think it'll be a sideproject if I go ahead with it - my black heart belongs to the Dark Mechanicus. ;) that helbrute is just fantastic. Thanks a lot! The leg armour plates are from the Dreadknight kit, turned upside down, and with some sculpted trims and chaos arrow added. The arms are indeed magmacutter arms from the maulerfiend, as are the shoulder pads. As for the juggerlord, go ahead and give it a shot - it's not a very complicated conversion. :)
MordentHex
Demon allies sure, to give yourself something to work on when your not feeling up to converting nasty evil metal bits. As great as your Dark Mechanicus are demon allies could give you something to work on when your feeling uninspired or want to paint other colors. Eldrick Shadowblade
· Hidden by Captain Semper, February 4, 2016 - Necro Hidden by Captain Semper, February 4, 2016 - Necro The method is very simple: 1) Basecoat AV Tinny Tin (GW Tin bitz) 2) Drybrush GW Shining Gold 3) Drybrush (very lightly, only edges should get picked out) AV Gold (very light gold colour) 4) Heavy wash of Army Painter Strong Tone (Devlan mud) 5) Drybrush AV Gold again 6) Paint middle of trims with Seraphim Sepia 7) Pick out rivets with badab black. I think it's a great method to getting great gold, with barely any precision painting = very easy, very quick. Is AV valejo colors? Also, very inspiring conversions! Link to comment
