Marshal Rohr
Ajax's legs are deathshroud legs, other than that they are legion tartaros and a few plastic bits etc. Is that subtle insinuation that you think Minotaurs are actually made from DEATH GUARD gene seed!?!? :P
DaemonPrinceDargor
I rather think it means that the Minotaurs are so badass, they bully marines of the first founding Legions and take their trousers.
Dange
Great work so far guys I have to admit the minotours have nearly pulled me back to 40k from 30k a few times :)
Noctus Cornix
I rather think it means that the Minotaurs are so badass, they bully marines of the first founding Legions and take their trousers. Lorenzen
even if he did hand ajax his trousers.. he'd still do what he did to the four eyed ultramar kid, just to prove a point. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2013/221/9/7/2_by_typhion-d6hdlth.jpg

Dosjetka
In that last pic, Ajax has a Clint Eastwood-type expression on his face. And that's all kinds of awesome.
Marius Perdo
The Badab War book says "bear little respect for anyone of anything, save the God Emperor and the High Lords of whom they have displayed fanatic and unquestioning loyalty, but carry abundant hatred for all else" I think Ajax's face really evokes the last part :) Great stuff. Going to have a couple called Aias (alternative spelling of Ajax in the Iliad)with my lot, big and small, so they can be the Aiantes. Very inspirational stuff and making me like I am letting the Chapter down by playing with trenches and not actually painting mine yet.
Lorenzen
screw trenches man get on the bronze! (i recommend dargors method tbh, produces good results pretty easily, though each to their own) i kinda wanted Ajax to be posed in a calm before the storm kind of way.. like hes just gone *deep breath* "okay.. they need to die.. like a lot.. time to get to it" and the moment that hammer comes off the ground things are going to be turned into red stringy death paste. The_Chaplain
Okay few more models to show, nothing super special just some tactical marines and a librarian. Yeah right, it takes major balls to cut up a model like severin loth- and you've done a bang up conversion off of that miniature to boot. Kudos to you sir. Marshal Rohr
Do you use instant molds to cast the shields?
Lorenzen
Nah i used a 2 part silicone rubber mould for them. :)
Marshal Rohr
I'm trying to figure out how to use instant molds to do 2-part molds, because I dont want to buy a pressure caster, or the visit from the police that comes with it after Boston. Lorenzen
i dont have a pressure pot.. just adequate vents and a tendancy to cast with my airbrushes compressor on so that it vibrates the table gently to get any bubbles to head up the vents to the top. Marshal Rohr
Smart man, I may have to try that. I'm working on whole kits, so far small bubbles have been inevitable.
