VIII Legion 96th Company/ I Legion 74th Company

ok so the basic premise is about half a company of marines from Caliban that took over a small fleet of ships during the battle for Caliban.  Whenever they hear about a small squad of marines from one of the Dark Angel Chapters they warp into the system, take out anyone that might be an Inner Circle member ie: Sergeants, Raven Guard, Deathwing, Librarians, Chaplains and Apothecaries if they are veterans.

 

The Basic tactic is while the Dark Angel, or second founding is under fire completing their mission sniper fire will hit one or two of the ranking members over the course of their mission, until no one but the standard line marines are left trying their best to pick up the pieces and complete the mission.

 

This is where my Company comes into play with their Bikes swooping in with their Crusade Painted armor, and their own Terminators fighting towards the under fire Dark Angel Squad(s) to lay down fire support with static comms of we are here to help and bla bla bla.  Once both forces meet and take out the enemy this is where it gets tricky usually their ship is a small one and was destroyed without warning in space thus they need a ride home, sure we need to talk anyway and bring us up to speed so we can help our brothers out.

 

While we are out lets help this planet...and this planet...oh by the way we are fallen...and help this planet...WAIT WHAT...

 

boom to late...join us and fight against the real fallen IE the Chapter itself...cause we are right they are wrong or rejoin them and be killed by the real traitors...

so it has been about 5 months or so since my last update

 

just bleh...

 

but I was bored watching the games last night watching the patriot smack around the ravens...I mean what the heck guys

trying to make all my marines have that scavenger look to them...somewhat like the 10th company where supplies were always low so find what you can...

 

which i will try to mirror with my DA chapter where they are all clean and have to much in supplies...

Finishing up my Librarian for my 30k army i will try to start hopefully sometime this year...

Yeah been painting some stuff but just busy with work and whatnot

Waiting on some arms from eBay...to finish up the last guy of the first squad...trying to have them where they are starting to grab stuff on the go and hold onto it longer then need-be for future versons of them with the 40k verson

 

More or less already scavenging ammo and whatnot. I want my 30k guys to fit in with my 40k guys

Really liking the mixing of armours, pads and heads, a nice blend that adds great character to each squad and marine.  Those Eotechs are looking good too!

 

Can't wait to see these guys painted up!

It will be next month before I get started on them for the ELT

 

I had actually gone most of those guys from the Legion MK IV bundle pack where's got three squads in one and then the other guys are just stuff I picked up off eBay
