I have no idea why either, I love the idea of cultists, but I think somewhere in the back of my mind I know they are cannon fodder and not worth the effort! Tzen Posted February 19, 2015 Author Share Posted February 19, 2015 So yesterday some bits for my Land raider arrived in the mail! http://www.golden-throne.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/lr2.1.jpg This armour kit is from the Dark Works, and was sent to me by a true gentleman(thanks Biohazard!). I added the candles over the headlights area (as my previous conversion work from about ten years ago had ruined the detail of the lights). I will also be adding some books (donated by Golden Throne's Commander Kraal!) to the front armour. So far so good. Whole unit together does look pretty impressive.For a simple meatshield the cultist looks pretty damn good and that land raider is shaping up very nicely indeed. Very thematic additional decoration. It's taken a while and I have had to do the best I can with the blending of the reds without an airbrush. I find the larger the surface area the harder it is to do a decent job. My poxy camera and photography skills can't seem to capture the correct shade! Anyway, just the driver and the pintle mounted storm bolter and the Lascannons to go.
