Finished my first Furioso Dread last night-

It's a base of Balthasar gold, washed with Guiliman blue, highlighted with Gehenna's gold, and edge highlighted with Runefang steel. :)

You're on one hell of a role at the moment, chaplain! Lots of good work, but I really love how that Furioso's come out. The colours used for the 'stealers makes for a strong, but not distracting, contrast with the red.

My momentum has hit a brick wall at the minute; ran out of black spray. :P

I'm glad the Tyranids work well, was a little concerned that they might have stolen the focus away from the Dread too much, hence the darker colour scheme for them. Nice to hear it works, so thank you. :)

Decided to drop Captain Karlaen from my list and replace him with another Librarian, this time with a Force Sword rather than the axe my other Libby has.
Used a few spare bits I had knocking about and came up with this guy who I'm calling Raziel ( guess the reference anyone? );

Finished another 2 Terminators with hammers too and got a start on my Banner bearer. Hope to have him done by the end of the week, though the prospect of painting that banner scares me. :P

Right, having been distracted by my new Dark Elf project for the last few weeks I got back to the Blood Angels this afternoon and finished the 5th member of my Assault Squad which means they are now a legal squad.

I'll probably be working on their Land Raider next before I start on my newely planned 15 man Death Company squad. Going to be great fun fielding those. :P

Finished these last night, the start of my 2nd Tac Squad and the last Terminator for my Assault squad.

I also started on a test model for my Sanguinary Guard but only had enough of the paints I needed to paint his right leg. At least I have a finished example of how the golden armour will look though and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Quick update on the Sang guard, gold and face are now finished though the pics don't really pick up the shading on the wing section and the jump pack.

So after a lull in motivation I finally sat down and finished the Sang Guard test model.

Pretty happy with how it turned out in the end but more pleased that it's finished and I have some motivation back, just in time for the ETL too. :P
