I gotta say, paintin green SUCKS . I don't know, this may break the project for me. I may have to legion hop! pictures soon hopfully I was going to prime a few more guys and have a batch paint go, but I will wait. I am really not happy with the green. just the color in general. Pretty easy, actually. That's why I'm wondering how he's going about it. Are you trying for FW Sallies recipe you put up a few days back, Prime? I think it looks good too, but if you don't like doing it, then do yourself a favor and stop. There's nothing worse than trying to force yourself to do something you don't like with a hobby. At the moment I cant get in the groove for anything. Alpha Legion - cant get the scheme in a way I'm happy, and have no ideas on interesting models. Raven Guard - Couldn't get into the mindset. I kind of like the segmentata idea, but how about in the segments you have a dragon design. So when in a rest position the dragon shows. Not sure if that makes sense. I think at the least get him done and painted and see how you feel. With the scales, there's a good method on a Alpha Legion forum using the little pieces of paper left over from a hole punch. If your interested will have a quick search for it. With a bit of help from facmanpob (he threw legions names at me to instinctively say yes or no) I've got it down to Iron Hands or Imperial Fists (Word Bearers were a discarded third, those Ashen Circle almost changed that).
