World Eaters gain hatred outside of their deployment zone and must always attempt to make sweeping avances. All models must reroll failed pinning testa dn reroll their run roll results of 1. They must take an additional compulsory troop choice, may not take more vehicles with tank or flyer type than they have infantry, may only have a single consul and can't have librarians, may not have fortifications or allied detachments.

Well it's said they any units assigned to Salamanders would consign their self to death as the legion would sell themselves and any allies to achieve their goal and prove their victorious reputation.

Terror squads cause fear, have infiltrate and preferred enemy (infantry), raptors gain D3 attacks when they charge instead of 1.

So they get Infiltrate, +1 cover for the first turn and a Night Fighting advantage when using the Rite of War? Holy Crap.

Stupid question, what exactly counts as "preferred enemy(infantry)"?

Salamanders get pyroclasts which have fancy flamer weapons, they can basically switch between a flamer and a short range melta weapon, they also have 5++ save against flame weapons. Standard 2+ save to, heavy support option. Firedrakes are elites count as scoring units and can be chosen as a bodyguard for a praetor.

Vulkan has 2+ and 3+++ save and halves strength of plasma, flame and melta weapons against him. Has a fancy weapon that is ranged 18 and u draw a line, ap 2 assault rending weapon, it's the one made by Ferrus. Has a fancy hammer which lets u exchange his normal attack for a blast marker which is str 8 ap 3 hits automatically and has strike down rule.

It also appears Salamanders had dark green armour prior to Vulkan turning up, they also used a saturnyne ram (head) as their earliest symbol. they also never recovered from a massive war where they lost 19,000 men over the entire campaign being left with 1000, because of their style of combat despite gaining new marines they'd lose them just as fast as they'd get them.

I think I'm in love with these Terror Squads... although I'll have to wait until I see the minis

If it makes a difference I loved all the night lords models I saw, I've seen so much today it's hard to bring to mind if I'd seen them, I think I have, they had body parts over them, however I may be confusing them with the Raptor squad which I also liked.

I loved the detail in their face masks, but I guess I see your point, it's just to think these were "loyalists" at one stage. Oh some back stage info on where the Night Lords recruited from, they got all their bog standard terran marines from a giant prison to lol.

Ohhhhh question time. ..what do the iron hands immortals and morlocks counts as..I:e elites etc..and can the iron hands have mechanicum robots as part of the army without the need to ally?

And are the new deathguard termies elites or troops?

Thanks in advance

If you use the trait, then Iron Hands can have mechanicum as elites.

As to Vulkan he didn't immediately join his legion, he accompanied the Emperor by himself for some time, what Vulkan did to his legion when he eventually rejoined them was to tempered their nature, but still maintained it so they could call on it, for example they'd do their utmost to save humanity but if called upon they would utterly annihilate their enemy.
