Still may look a bit heavy one end but the larger stature of the marine with the bigger pack does help to improve this. I will also be replacing the torso with that of the Forge World upgrade kit I am waiting to be delivered, just to keep the army consistent. I'm currently just dragging the brush over the armour in streaks of Agrax Earthshade and Nuln Oil. It works but gotta make sure I don't leave a block of white anywhere or it just looks out of place. Thanks! It's actually a heavy wash of just Agrax to start with, followed by a heavy wash on Nuln thereafter. Will often highlight various things between stages - but naturally the crux as you say is avoiding spots! Use the same system for any form of armour, seems to work well. Combine that with the forty or so Cadians I got as part of a bits trade with my brother and I think (provided I have worked this out correctly) I should be able to make two units of 30 zombies. I will probably play them as Cultists for now because I'm not sure on whether or not I will have Typhus in my army. I like the model, but, if anything like the current Abaddon model it will be a little small for a terminator. Nemac Vradon Posted November 12, 2013 Author Share Posted November 12, 2013 I managed to pick up a Rhino on ebay for a few quid but when I got it, it was in much worse condition than I had expected. the doors where previously mounted with sponsons but soemone had tried to dig them out and it was such a mess that new doors wouldn't fit in. Fortunatley I had still got the middle sections and top plate from the Vindicator upgrade sprue I had bought a while ago and used those to fix it up. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BSiVywmps1A/UoHv7Ky6cBI/AAAAAAAABAs/ASqu0SwxJq8/s400/IMG_0491.JPG The front plate is removable so when I get another vindicator upgrade I can run this as a Vindicator or a Rhino and the same with the next one. all Rhinos in my army will look like this now. because when I do the next Predator it will have the outer sections of the Vindicator side panels to represent extra armour. I also finished the first eleven Zombie Cultists. this is the close combat bunch.
