He came in a boxed set that was one of my first purchases for 40k.

He has been a Blood Angel, a Void Dragoon(a DIY chapter I made up after I stripped my Blood Angels), a Crimson Fist, a Salamander (dark brown skin - I don't buy into that drow look), an Imperial Fist,

an Angel of Vengeance, a Crimson Son, and innumerable other paint tests in-between.

 

I have marine figures older than my nephews and a lot of the kids I see playing at my LGS.

 

Strip those World Eaters if you need to. A good Astartes is always prepared to serve, no matter what color his armor may be.

Wow BCK he looks amazing in your paint job! your a triple threat(much like heathens), excellent converter, wonderful painter, and one hell of nice guy to boot!

I just got word from my mate Ahren that he's in town for a couple of weeks so sadly I'll be away from my models as we will be hitting the town up pretty hardcore

 

If you guys don't know he's the bassist/vocalist for the amity affliction an awesome Aussie band that's been in the US & UK so much over the past 2 years that I rarely get to see him

Edit: as you can see I have him a blood angels axe, a nice bolt pistol and thought of doing an imperial fist helmet for that spike.

So this is going to be the sgt made in honour of the inspiration 1000heathens brings me, I'm currently also working on Kol Saresk, furioso Prime, Brother Heinrich, Brother Chaplain Kage, Vazzy & Mikhail.

 

I'll be doing everything in batches of 7 so I won't be painting these till each character is built and approved off.

Simple Green works well, also- it is plastic safe, but I have not tried it on resin.

I have decided to join the path to damnation campaign that Templars Crusade01 has started.

rules are simple; build a chaos lord and as you progress you can build your warband and upgrade your status through the campaighn.

ill be using these boys as my starting block so my army now will be a mixture of death guard from pre heresy heresy and scouring era
