That should not be a problem ;)

Sweet I'll tune in and have a peek.

I have some bad news though, someone sabotaged my Internet, so I am unable to upload new pictures until it's been resolved, but that will hopefully be within the week.

I can however give a verbal update.

I added mid, couldn't airbrush it because it's like a paste so it came out so so, but I hope that it will still look good after the final touches are done.

I feel that 2 quotes really describe this tanks journey.

"Take what you have" and "Adapt and improve" xD

@MordentHex

Well imagine Armageddon, then pour a muddy marsh with snow, and a 10 year war of attrition and you have where that tank has been. :P

@jeremy1391

Thank you very much, and I'm not done yet even.

@1000heathens

And that's the look I am going for, hehe. :)

@koriel

Thank you! That was what I was trying to do, but didn't know if I managed.

Should I make the dirt/mud glossy so it looks really fresh or just satin to make it look a little bit older?

Woo, update again!

This update is rather small, it's just some pigments, like soot, dry mud and some finishing rust.

Final steps are, grese on the wheels, varnishes and tiny details like the lenses, but I want everything to be 100% dry before my last varnish so no more for today.

And I will use Gloss varnish for the wet mud since water effects is just way to glossy.

But less talking and more photos.

Should I go for a Matt or Satin final finish? (I think I am going for Satin)

If some patches look glossy that is because of the pigment fixer, but that will be fixed with the varnish.

And this just blew my mind.

My pigments are bloody magnetic :blink.:

Satin, and stop showing off this awesomeness or my monitor will weep in jealousy :P  About to build my second Sicaran, and this thread just oozes reasons to get myself around to painting it!

Love the pigment effect, couldn't have gotten that if you tried... hard coat varnish it next time to use it somewhere :D

@MordentHex

Well imagine Armageddon, then pour a muddy marsh with snow, and a 10 year war of attrition and you have where that tank has been. :tongue.:

ok, that's a lot of badlands to cover!

sounds like you got a story for it then. :wink:

Get a really big magnet then and make some explosions!

@ infyrana

Hehe, I was at that stage, but I'm improving :p

Maybe, I should start experimenting.

@ SteelPaladin

Thank you :)

@ MordentHex

Indeed, but no story beyond that, I'm kinda bad at that :/

I should :)

@ Captain Semper

Thank you!

Well, I wanted to make my 3:rd Ed Vindicator but the back panel is missing. So it's either a man carrying a Scythe or a group of men carrying a Scythe. I haven't decided yet. :p

There aren't enough words to describe how awesome that tank is!  And the mud is just perfect, it looks exactly like the mud I had to clean of the tracks of the Leopard 2 tank I commanded during my time in the Finnish Army when doing some track maintenance during wet seasons!
