Can only run the one squadron currently as this guy is allying my Night Lords, will most likely get 2 more as their rule makes them a kind of pseudo Orth as long as there are 2 vehicles in the group. Plus the dude is a Tank Commander for SA (didn't think the SA tank crew looked commandery enough) so has a choice of lovely rules to play with.

Might go down the SA route at a later date as I have already got a troops choice for them :)

Thanks Atia :D yeah choom tank isn't far off now, gonna give it some of the same mud mix as the stormblade.

I think I'm near enough done on this chap, if I was any good at fluff I'd do him a write up. So for now we'll call him version 2 of: Vikan Prixus, commander of the 123rd Company, VIII legion, Lord of the cruiser "Long Shadows"

Lookin awesome man :) really does the VIIIth justice...oooh, you got me all jealous with those shoulder pads.

Your stuff's also circulating on fb now, if you didn't already know. Quite a few likes in a group or two.

Shoulder pads weren't to hard really, a head and shield from the skeleton warriors kit. Cut the head in half, which is bloody scary with the gaping jaw head, I'm heavy handed as is, and constantly in fear of crushing it. The wing is from a shield, that cleaned up rather nice, took a little filing to get it to sit right but it goes. Just gutting there isn't one for the opposite side bit can't win 'em all!

I quite enjoy posting on FB, spreads the love a little further. The NL guys dig it anyway ^_^
