Maybe next time you should sit down with her and teach her how to make an army list so she'll be immersed that much more? Then throw guard at her and watch as her eyes glaze over at how many infantry 1500 can bring to the table, haha. Quick question: where did you get the tokens for the "X hull points remaining" ? It was more or less a game of 6.5, sort of a mix between 6th and 7th, as I don't really know 7th all too well yet. She has her own Eldar that she's painting up as well, I'd gone over the army list selections with her, but unfortunately, she didn't bring them with her. All's fine, I have the Ghost Warriors spam. Larkyn Posted March 8, 2015 Author Share Posted March 8, 2015 Alright, now that I've updated my Humanity's Darkest Hour thread, I should try and explain what I plan to do for the rest of the year hobby wise. I have 3 major projects that I want to work on: The 666th Expedition Fleet Terra Will Burn Humanity's Darkest Hour The 666th Expedition Fleet is my Great Crusade project, consisting of Dark Angels, (maybe Ultramarines), pre-Alpharius XX Legion, Solar Auxilia, and Knights of House Abrehart. This is the project I want to focus least on, but at the same time, I want to do major work on it. Terra Will Burn is my Heresy thread, focussing heavily on the Siege of Terra itself, majorly inspired by the In Memorium thread. It's also going to include some Scouring stuff as well. Primary forces will be Night Lords, Word Bearers, Alpha Legion, Imperial Fists, Blood Angels, and Blood Angels/Successor. Humanity's Darkest Hour is my post-heresy project. It's in preparation for the rumored 40k End Times. Themed during the 13th Black Crusade, it's going to be set around a campaign for a particular planetary system, and the battles between Chaos and the Imperium. Primary forces are Cadians, Grey Knights, various Space Marine forces, various Chaos forces, and Sisters of Battle. As far as this thread is concerned, I'm probably going to keep this open for general stuff like the battle report with my girlfriend that we recently did, and other hobby ideas and the like. Yesterday was really the first day I've got to play around with it, nice weather and all. And oh my god, it is a beast! It's definitely 5-6 pounds overweight (about 15 pounds), but even so, it's wonderful. The blade is blunt, but even so I was carving through thick cardboard boxes like a hot knife through butter.
