More work on the techmarine. The body is actually a very old one, made together with the first bike.  It wasn't selected as it was a bit too... square, but fit a techmarine well.  Finally it gets used, yay! :D

Worked on the head... as per suggested by a friend.  He thought it would be cool if I did the techmarine overlapping plates on the faceplate, similar to how I do my marines helms, but smoother.  Still have some touching up to do though...

Worked on the front of the bike too... same prow, but replacing the center with a beamer from the FW.

Haha thanks! The beamer was a gambit. I used the contemptor version. Overall it is... large, so I had to chop down the back. I am thinking the one from the Astral Claws MotF might be a better fit, and much easier to use, but spares of that is... difficult to get. I will mount it to the chassis of a bike body with an extension, similar to the first 2 bikes, but am thinking of putting the tracks on the outside. Playing around with the MKII gave me the inspiration for this.

@Master Toddius... old school way? Great concept prototypes? Not really sure what you mean...tongue.png A lot of this is just trail and error.

@Squeaky... I'm sorry, but I don't see any pigs here...? huh.png (I really don't get the term, sorry)

Added the body.  It was essentially the same as the MkII but with the wheels on the outside.  The Conversion Beamer back was mounted directly to the chassis of the bike... so it can't turn.  I am thinking of the front be Anti-Grav, ala a half-track (solving the turning issue... I think).

The back has the drive train mounted with some vertical traverse... some suspension, with independent drive, thanks to some landspeeder lights!  The exhaust is from a Baal Flamer turret.

Playing around with the chassis, it felt... plain.  I tried boxes like the MKII but it didn't feel right.  In the end I had the idea of putting more engines on the back, so here is what I came up with.

How about a shot of the engine exhausts from the rear? You're leaving out pictures of a major component of a silhouette- and one that could very well change opinions on them.

From what I can see? They work.

I feel that the rear treads need some kind of cowling though like on a 1929 Model 125 roadster - no real protection, but pleasing aesthetically.

Worked on the front.  As this is meant to be a hover front, I worked on the repulsors and stuff...

I'll work on the back a bit more in the future...  It can be seen in some angles.

The base is modeled so the tracks are the only things touching, so the front will be off the ground.

And here is the servo-harness.

The harness does add to the feel of the bike.  The silhouette is quite... interesting.  Some of my friends have said that it is quite... over-the-top, which I quite like.  I am thinking to add more one servo-arm on the bike itself, on the back...

And here is the back view, as someone requested?

There's still more to add, like the hole in the chest, the rivets, purity seals, symbols etc., so stay tuned!
