i mean in "real" rules, like in a tournament? Like the HH weekender? I was thinking a doublebarreled laser destroyer? That would seem the most apropiate!

I don't play very competitive games and never went on a tournament. I much more enjoy playing against a nice painted army on a well done Battlefield. Maybe drinking some beer, chatting, just having a nice time.

If somebody realy had a problem that I want to play the ursus claw a fluffy way, I allways can choose to play against someone else wink.png

And two closeups:

I am realy happy how they turned out, so I will add 5 more and maybe a medic to the squad. Also I am thinking about to paint some bolters and glue them to belts. Would give the unit some more detail and underline the "veteran" feeling.

Also been building a TSS for the Triarii:

The IH kits have so much potential.

Thank you so much!

i notice some helmets and bits are a white resin look ,are these home moulded

Yes, done with a simple one-part mold. I got into that mostly to mass produce the Sarum helmet conversion I made. As FW is sadly ignoring this very iconic World Eater helmet down.gif

That textured look on the white armour is excellent! How do you paint it?

It comes from the oilcolor wash, as it drys very slowly you have a lot of control to the outcome.

No painting done latly, but at least I build a Skullchampion, my Chaplain count as:

Thanks guys! Glad you like him.

Anaziel is right on the helmet, it is from the Dark Vengeance chaplain. The hair part is from a High Elf White Lion.

The mace is also from the DV chaplain, with the headpiece replaced by a Rampagers Meteorhammer endpart.

Hey guys,

it has been a while but I finally managed to finish something and not just start new projekts.

First the Skullchampion:

I went with classic Chaplain colors, as there is no fluff I am aware about WE chaplains, I guess I can do what I want^^

I like how he seperates himself from the rest of the legion and the black armor realy points the atention in direction of the facemask.

Then I painted two more guys for my TSS and replaced the sergeants Bolter with a Volkite weapon. The squad is now finally at full strenght.

The new guys
