Squeaky
Wow they look like they would take a hell of a beating before they went down. Oh and thank you for telling which bits you used where :)
Molokai
Awesome use of the immortals poom. I've also just used them to convert up a master of signal, two sergeants and two apothecaries. I agree that they really are beautiful models. When you get rid of their shields you can actually see the sculpts for what they truly are. Well done mate :)

Knight of the Raven
I'm a fan of maximus armor first and foremost, but when I see these iron-armored World Eaters... Oh yes. The cogs must have been a nightmare to remove though.
poom
Thanks guys! I'm a fan of maximus armor first and foremost, but when I see these iron-armored World Eaters... Oh yes. The cogs must have been a nightmare to remove though. They take some extra time, but I would not call it a nightmare, with a sharp knife it is not that bad. I usually don't like to post pictures of painting in progress, but as these paintjobs will soon be burried under a lot of dust pigments I show them anyway... Knight of the Raven
Thanks for the answer, poom. The dilemma between mkIII and mkIV for my War Hounds is becoming harder with each passing day. And I agree with Demon2027. I need my Raven Guard fix since SCC stopped his blog. I NEEDS EET.

Eldrick Shadowblade
Well, the only problem is now you're gonna have to paint up a dread for the unfortunate brother who lost his arms and leg.... Love the poses gives a very realistic feel to the battle raging around them.

poom
Thanks guys! There are no plans of doing Raven Guard in the near future.. If I start something besides the World Eaters, it propably will be Mechanicum. But never say never ____________________ For the Titan I want to do two banners, one under each gun. For them beeing painted on both sides I need to do 4 designs. Here is a WIP shot of what I have right now: http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp282/PoomW/BannerWIP3.jpg from right to left: Legion banner - my take on the Legio Audax symbol Personal banner - Personal iconography and honors Alliances - Honors for the alliance with the forge world Sarum and Angrons 13th Expedition Isstvan 3 honor banner - Here I propably will add some chains with helmtrophys from all the 4 Space Marine Legions. poom
ehr mer gerd! Awesome man! LOVE IT, hey man, how did you paint the black? The black is done just by drybrushing. I start with a chaos black undercoat. Then I drybrush 3 grey tones. eshin grey -> dawnstone and at the end realy lightly some fortress grey. It makes sense while doing this to keep some zenital light in mind, not just highlighting the edges. To blend it togeather I wash everything with dark tone from Armypainter. Nuln Oil does not work so good for this step, better use dark tone or badab black if you still have some. Then I add the decals and give all the mandatory oilwash. When all is dry I add some battledamage with boltgun metal. _____________________________________________________________________ The titan is coming allong nicely, still some things to do but the end is finnaly in sight. Here is a snapshot togeather with one of the banners: http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp282/PoomW/emberqueen57.jpg When the white is weatherd down a bit I think they will look great on her. Also a shot from one of the shin armour: http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp282/PoomW/emberqueen58.jpg It would not be Syrghala without this. "If wolves have a queen, this is she" Given to her by the Lion personally Also been converting some Tech Thralls: http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp282/PoomW/Tech_Thrall_1_05.jpg The Idea to replace the facemask with servoskulls came from this awsome blog: http://4gotowar.blogspot.de/2014/02/inq28-mechanicum-knight-pilot-bodyguard.html
