He is heavily converted from the wolf guard model with the two wolf claws (not sure if they still sell that one). I don't really run ragnar anymore. Which is a shame because he's easily the standout model in my collection. Haven't used him since 5th edition ended and he became useless against terminators. Planning to kit mine with: Runic Armour, Thunder Wolf Mount , Krakenbone Sword, Storm Shield, Pelt of the Balewolf , Digital Weapons. For 5 points less than Logan. Is that too expensive, do you think? Will he be effective enough for being such a huge piece of the army? Gonna have fun modeling him. Should end up being quite a spectacle. Im not a great sculpter, but its fun moddeling and i hope im getting better. His thunderhammer is called Krossa, which means crush, or to crush, i have written the Word on the hammerhead with elder futhark runes. The runes on his shield spells, för alltid trogen, which means forever loyal, or forever faithfull. The lords name is Bror, which is a Swedish name meaning brother, and last name sköld brytare, which means shield breaker. I don't play the game so i don't at all think he is a legal model, but i just enjoy paint. So far his fluff is very vague, but he does belong to the 13th company, and his detachment broke off from the main force and he became a self appointed wolf lord, His name is Kvarforth the Unbreakable. He is almost done apart from his base. Will update later! Nova_chron Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Personally give The Lord WC/PF and a battle leader the sword and shield run together you now have two very deadly challengers in one unit to pick and choose who fights whom tough character who needs a good fist to the face = lord, chaff with a 2+ = battle leader, chaff sergeant = cavalry leader with a power sword ( I prefer wolf claws personally) that way you always have someone or two who can blend the squad while the challenge is delt with Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

His arms are magnetised, as is the cape, along with all the different Wolf Guard Terminator options and as will be the Cataphractii Terminator options I've bought. He's standing upon the wreckage of a pair of Rhino hatch doors, rather than the rocky Chaos star that the Chaos Terminator Lord his armour is from stands upon. I'm unsure how I'll paint him, in particularly the Chaos Terminator armour, but the story will be of course that it was taken from an opponent in battle etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
