Sounds more like something you want to post in the Daemon subforum, not here. It's after all, a daemon army and not a Heretic Astartes or even a Emperor's Children army anymore (or did you mean to make the Outrider Detachment Emperor's Children rather than Night Lords?). :D

That being said, it looks like a nice list. Not sure if I'd take Warptalons considering Daemons already are melee only and the things they are lacking is actual shooting and anti-tank and I'd probably take Daemonettes in bigger units.

It also has nothing that's great about EC (Noise Marines, Noise Helbrute, Plasma-Termis/Obliterators) except for the Daemon Prince.

I think I'd swap the Warptalons with Obliterators so you get some quality shooting while maintaining the Daemon keyword, make the Daemonette units bigger and probably also get rid of the Furies.

I'm also missing some Fiends. Those things are great!

you’re right about me posting this in the wrong place, my bad. It’s just that I was esitating on playing them as nightlords or emperor’s children and kinda wanted someone to convince me to use emperor’s children, thankfully you did. My two basic ideas were to either use the morale diminishing abilities of the NL combinende with the daemon’s ones and the psychic powers that use leadership or use emperor’s children and hysterical frenzy on my marines for all the fighty goodness. I’m going with the EC one, removing the furies and adding some fiends, now I’m wondering what marines should I add in my remaining 500 points or so?

( now that it’s more about EC I hope my post is in the good place)

So I went a bit overboard and got myself 4 daemon princes... I’m trying to build a list with all of them, what would be good to accompany them? Anything slaanesh is good for me, not neceserly chaos space marines.

Daemon Princes are very good currently, all the better for being able to work with CSM and Daemons. They'd do well supporting anything accordingly, but since the Prince will be better taking names in combat (and casting powers) units to keep him company would be best. They'd also be able to provide an escort so he can make full use of the protection his Character status grants.

If it were me, I'd run some assault CSM and Daemonettes to get a good attacking force together and build tactics up around that. Stuff like disrupting enemy shooting lines, though that said four Princes alone are probably enough to cause enough trouble so maybe for a cheaper version just some Daemon support?

If the enemy can get them as the closest unit they're liable to get blasted off the board so something is needed. If you want to focus on getting the Princes in then Cultists would be better as a cheap screen yes, but their damage output wouldn't be great accordingly.

I'm very tempted but I try to be patient and wait until end of the year. ^^

I want to see that size, id be super tempted to get her as a Daemon Prince(ess) of slannesh. Really for any of the legions, but EC or BL would be easy. Keeper of secrets also, as i think based on her wing span she may be a tad bit to wide for a daemon prince, not that many would complain if used as that..... I am sure fulgrim will follow a similar design patterns.

I would presume thats the big thing your waiting for ;-)  I shall partially partake myself once the Noise Marines get new plastics. Abbadon could use some noisy brothers ;-)

That Morathi’s monstrous form would be sweet for a daemon princess/keeper of secrets of Slaanesh. Just looking at the model though, she’s pretty tall and those wings can attract serious attention. Which is cool for a centerpiece model but worrisome on the battlefield. My daemon princes have it rough enough hopping from cover to cover ducking & dodging bullets.

I think I’m going to join you all on the waiting boat and see what we get from an EC release. Either my Cult of Golden Tears grow or they join the Black Legion.

With the lists I had made and how I play they usually get ahead of my army. And attract attention.

Although, now that I think about it they would be nice to run up the field with bikers. I finally dusted mine off awhile ago and they have been putting in some good work. I think they could pull off escort duty just fine.

To be fair she is on a 100mm base. So shes a tad "big" for a daemon prince, but I do not think that most people would find an issue with it.

Shes definitely a fair bit taller then a daemon prince, the wing span is really the biggest issue "model wise" but since you measure to bases in 8th and daemon princes naturally can hide.....not terrible.  If you were doing anything Slanneshi-themed (My black legion is super heavy slannesh, no tzeentch, one nurgle unit, and one Khorne unit) I would think that Morathi is perfect, and theres plenty of fluff for female daemon princes, as most DP's are not space marines, they are humans that ascended.

Its *super* tempting for conversion and of course GW's big kits are generally wonderful.

If I'd ever decide to get her I'd most likely model her without wings and use her as Keeper of Secrets anyway. She really is a bit too big for a Daemon Prince and last time I checked the KoS doesn't have the FLY keyword so I'd like to avoid a model with wings. ^^

As for Morathi I wonder if removing the wings and adding more arms would be suitable for a KoS? Obviously copying our beloved Primarch but I think it could look good.

AnnieGreenGable, I made a kitbash for my blastmaster using the loyalist devastator’s grav-cannon for the basis of the weapon, then adding on this vent bit and some other doo-dads to make mine. You could also use the FW Kakophoni’s weapon...the cacophony...too. I did that for a few years until I just bought a bunch to use as sonic blasters.

Has anyone had any success with kitbashing Blastmasters? I've out together the below, as well as a custom model of Lucius, but I am not happy with the guns, they need something more sonicy...
Ta!

I have used bits from Marine and Necron guns for my Sonics, for the Blastmaster I am going to try a similar 'shooty' end on a Grav Cannon with some gubbins and doohickeys added.

I would also like to point out I stole the idea for the Sonic weapons from another Fraeter a few years ago, but I cant remember who to credit him for his mad skills.
