LutherMax Posted January 13, 2017 Share Posted January 13, 2017 Played a doubles game at Warhammer World today on one of the fancy tables. The game went terribly for us but it was fun rubbing shoulders with the likes of Duncan, Rob and Jes Goodwin in Bugman's! There was one epic moment when we had just a single CC Scout squad left and they took out an Autarch on jetbike followed by a normal jetbike causing the other two to flee. The last Scout then took out a Vyper single-handed to win us an objective worth 60% of our total VPs :D I'll post pics tomorrow including my newly finished Sicaran and Deredeo... For the loss of two scouts and Stunning the vindicator on his first turn, I retaliated with the decimation of a Crusader squad, enough casualties to make the other one run off the table, Meltacide ended his land raider and the Assault Terminators that landed in my front line felt the full wrath of my fully operational Grav bikes. Charlo Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 His second turn has seen the Meltacide squad swept aside by Grimaldus and his crusadin' crew, angrily fresh from the destruction of his land raider. Not before my sergeant smashed an upstart neophyte into the dirt before the tide of black ceramite toppled him... Furioso Dread has lost a HP and obviously been immobilised. One scout squad is down to two dudes. Vindicator blown up without firing (150pt bullet magnet for the win). Currently 2:1 to the BA with first blood and one TO completed (hold obj 4) as we go into turn two. Squad war crimes is about to make its fiery foray into the battlefield. Charlo Posted January 14, 2017 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Much easier than trying to recall everything later! Turn two I drew ascendancy and the self sacrifice objective cards. Scored ascendency and am now aiming to smoosh Grimaldus with Darr'knight for maximum FUN. I did some grav, blew up his wayward pod. Flamer squad didn't arrive until turn three but long story short I took apart the big Crusader squad with all my shooting until eventually Grimaldus lost his last wound to wall of death from my sergeants twin hand flamers.
