Cretheus' Night Lords

Hey all this is just where I am going to be showing the W.I.P of my most recent project the Night Lords. So first up is the leader of my Warband I was going for a coniving arrogance for this fellow in with very Minor mods i feel I've achieved it.

Nomac "the cold heart" Valerian. He is My hero in the campaign we are doing at my club.

Great job on the Chaos Lord/NL conversion! It's a simple enough conversion, but it's so effective! He really looks the part!

Thats a great use of Khârn, in focus pics of the paint job might help get more comments then that mate, it looks nice, but can't really see much f the colours from that angle.

Hey just another update..... not that I will ever use him unless someone can guide me in a way that i would be able to still have touches like eyes and little bits but i really like the way he has come out so far........ Saleb (counts as lucius)

Valerian looks brilliant - a limited colour pallet applied very cleanly, great painting.  A very clean photo too, whatever you did for that picture, repeat it for your other models and they'll get the attention they deserve!

That Fantasy chaos champion truly is a godsend for chaos space marines modellers.

Valerian looks good and so do the others. Are you planning to use the other four deathshrouds as they are or will you cut their scythes blades into axes?

Be-a-u-tiful conversion with the chaos lord. I love the understated wing decorations on the helmet, much better than the ones in the GW conversion kit!

 

Also, fantastic use of the Khârn model, especially with the pointing hand - you can imagine him screaming 'YOU'RE NEXT' as he thunders towards his next victim! Inspired :)

If you can paint in rapidly coagulating Larraman infused blood, normal acrylics are a snap!

Looking great so far Cretheus! I love your take on terror marks. They're very jagged and aggressive. Perfect!
