Chaos is calling...

Recommended Posts

oh forte, i dont have an airbrush ither, but can make you a dwal, we can both paint one model with our offhand, it could be fun or horrible, and it cant be nurgle, that be too easy

Well I managed some sculpting so should be ok. Will do the spawn first anyway as it's going to be mostly washes and glazes msn-wink.gif

Tempting to see how an "off hand painted" mini looks though. Maybe as a fun challenge after the Call.

oki forte we can do that afer the call

this is where I find I can paint better as a leftie

If i can find out how to upload images off my phone il pledge my Sons of Slaanesh warlord Sigvald The Lucious and a squad of plastic slightly converted Noise Marines

It can be done but not in Mobile view. You have to use the "Full Version" option and treat it the same as using a pc. Though you can't normally batch select photos.

I finally got around to starting my COC vows. I've got lots of stuff on the hobby table lined up. I have been side tracked because my RTT kickstarter box came, and it has a ridiculous amount of models in it that I had been dying to mess about with. But now I've got 1 out of 7 units done and will have a base coat on my Plague Marines done before the night is out.

well now from the depths comes Gubnutz.  I lost my password and RL took a mighty toll on my free time.  I am back now and ready to get with the call.  The fact that it is dedicated to Grandfather Nurgle makes it impossible for me to ignore.  I need to evaluate my list of to paint items after a recent move and see what can be cobbled together.

Finally :)

Hey all,

Great stuff going on so far!

I have been going back and forth in my mind about pledging to this as I am moving from the UK to Hong Kong and I've just finished NaNoWriMo.org (50,000 word story in the 30 days of November)... so I was wondering if I would actually be able to finish...

However I have decided to make a small vow that I feel like I can accomplish!

Therefore:

I Rikkumon answer the Call of Chaos and vow to complete two units before January 15th 2015. If I do this successfully I will receive the Mark of Pustulant Glory and continue on the path to ruin. If I fail I’ll wear the Mark of the Lost and I expect no mercy on my soul!

My units will be one five man Nurgle Bike squad and one seven man Plague Marine squad.

Progress so far:

Awesome plaguemarines mate. The sand used for corruption really does work well no?

Hey Augustus,

Thanks!

I got the idea from this blog: http://tinweasel.blogspot.hk/2010/04/hobby-tip-on-my-word-unleash-nurgle.html

However, it isn't only sand. I mixed PVA glue with plastic sawdust for finer grit and used Typhus Corrosion over the grit and around the edges. I think it creates a nice build up to the sand.
