While I am fine with quartered, why yellow and black? I feel like that won't accessorize well with jaguar/ panther pelts. What about either dark red or dark green and black? The Dark Green/Red and Black sounds good to me, and quartered schemes aren't very common so it could make them stand out somewhat by that respect alone. Let's have a look-see shall we? *hurries off to SM Painter* Okay, quartered dark green and black: Now, quartered dark red and black: And lastly, because I felt like experimenting, quartered dark green and red: I left the chest eagles blank white as no-one's yet suggested any colours for them and the eye colour I altered for each one to better compliement the rest of the armour. I think it would look quite nice with a jaguar skin hanging from the waist, or worn as a toga type deal (like sternguard) or as a little wrap around the arm or leg. But it becomes harder to rectify the divergent beliefs with the straight and narrow (although awesome) boys in blue being the original members of the chapter.  also just spent ages reading through this whole thread and the idea just sucked me in. But the black and dark green is a bit too similar for my taste. As for the blue and grey, it's got a nice contrast between the light grey and navy blue. The trim is up for debate, I like a gold trim, but I can see any of the other metallics except maybe silver doing well. The other metals are more or less composed of yellow,red, and orange: in colour theory we now have a small set of warm colours to compliment the overall coolness from the navy blue and light (blue-) grey. If we go for a gold trim, we'll have to work out how to show company colours.
