Just a couple questions as I think we have almost everything covered at this point. Dante gets Descent of Angels as a Warlord Trait. He also get another one from what I understand? Is that set or do you roll for it?

And a more general question, how does the book look? Any cool new art of stuff like that? Thanks!

No, you only get one Warlord Trait. A character with a set Warlord Trait doesn't roll for a second.

For some reason in my round up on my blog I have written he gets more than one. Didn't someone say something about reserve manipulation with him or something like that?

Not that I saw. Unless the Descent of Angels Warlord Trait does that. The old Descent of Angels army-wide rule did.

Here's what I'm talking about: Dante is about the same price he was before, he also gains a tactical objective trait along with descent of angels... which, works on anything coming from reserves... like...drop pods:D, terms every darn thing gets to only scatter d6 and reroll failed reserve attempts.

I hear you. It sounds like Dante gets...

  • Descent of Angels warlord trait, which is now everything that Deep Strikes for any reason only scatters 1d6, and also reroll all Reserves rolls.
  • Also he gets another Tactical Objective trait.

yeah, I got a little excited about the less scatter, it's only skimmer and jump  that get the less scatter.

Dante's free tactical roll is part of a big sentence which says , if you are using with the tactical missions he also gets to roll tactical warlord traits table

His other is Tactical Precision, fluffy for him if you ask me and can be handy.

If you are playing a game with Tactical objectives, you roll on the tactical traits table before deploying your first unit.

He gets this in addition to his other Warlord Trait.

Lookwise its a mix, there is quite a bit new art work and it looks great, profiles are all now the models themselves and its set out like the ork codex so lack luster there but thats because 90% of use prefer the old load out.

Doing a little list writing when I noticed this.

The BA relics are nice for the most part and are reasonably costed even if we don't have one for eternal warrior, downside though is we can only take in the whole army, not per model, per army.

So this means not jet pack and sword combo (jet pack is best in my eyes)

Sad times people.

Is it true that Tac and AS can no longer get RB as a Dedicated Transport? Someone who apparently has the Codex said on Dakkadakka that only Vets get it now as a Dedicated Transport, need a conformation on this.

If it is I will punch a baby.

I heard that AS can not take Razs, did not hear that about Tacs.  Of course, I think Rhinos and Razorbacks are fast choices now and I doubt I will use most of my Fasts unless I horde Attack Bikes.

Alright Brothers. Here's my final compiled rumor dump: http://dedard.blogspot.com/2014/12/final-blood-angels-rules-dump.html Big thanks to Pascalnz and Duke Danse Macabre for the Q and A. This isn't 100% accurate, but should be pretty close. I'll repost it here.

I also did my last update on the the compiled mega post with all the pics and stuff here: http://dedard.blogspot.com/2014/12/blood-angels-compiled-mega-post.html At this point I'm REALLY liking what I see and I'm content now to just wait for the Codex this weekend. Looking forward to flipping through this sucker and trying to figure out some lists!

Tactical squads can get the Razorback as DT.  Assault squads cannot  take a Razor.  A 5 man Assault Squad can take 2 meltaguns and a free dropod or Rhino if they remove their jump packs.

Got the Codex writing lists and playing now

Librarians cannot take Telepathy damn damn damn

Happy to answer questions till I start rolling dice, first up Eldar

Your Chaplain costs 50 points....

So.  Much.  Hate.

Edit- Seriously.  Lots and lots of hate.

Edit 2- Haaaaaaaaate!

Edit 3- See Edits 1 and 2.

Edit 4- Maybe now they'll finally be able to sell that ridiculous Chaplain/Command Squad/Razorback bundle?  Also, hate.
