Not sure about it to be fair.... It is a cool concept, but I reckon the crest needs trimming back a bit

 

I do not know why, but it reminds me of the crested dragon helm that Qin Xa wears in Path of Heaven

 

If you trim the hair off, curve it some more and you got some sweet shoulder plate trim.

Heck, I almost made an entire unit rocking the look

Yes, and do it! I love the look, you should consider putting one on a dreadnought to.

I think the "uniqueness" is what sells it for me. 

 

And no idea about painting him right now. Im going to have to re-read anything I can find on 30k Wolf Priests and re-hunt through Visions of Heresy for any tips.

Yea, it is alot. I actually find his legs pretty boring, and may swap them out for one of the Deathsworn legs. Or not. I want him to stand out from them.

Yes, and do it! I love the look, you should consider putting one on a dreadnought to.

 

 

My 30k Wolves only have 2 dreads, a Contemptor and Leviathan. The Contemptor is too slow to keep up with my Wolves as they currently sit and the Leviathan takes up the sole HS slot the Pale Hunters grants me...so they are warming the bench right now.

I had a thought... For another Speaker of the Dead anyways... Enkomi's head (Minotaur Chaplain) remove the original greek style crest and put a fyreslayer crest on it instead?

 

Would give you 2 guys with a visually different face, but the crest ties them together?

Could be wrong, but I suspect WLK is using that "horn" to represent the Fang of Morkai.

 

It's the bit I use on my Wolf Priests, but obviously I'm just guessing.
