The Iron Warrior icon's from the FW shoulder pads work really well for the Justerian chest plate where the Eye of Horus Icon would normal be.  That what I done with my own for Throne of Skulls March this year for my unbound Chaos Terminator list.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the gap in updates but I finally finished the first Terminator Squad and I'm moving onto creating a Warsmith that I'm really happy with so far, I'll try and post up the idea soon. Thanks for all your help Insane Psychopath and DuskRaider I've made an order for a pretty expensive command squad laugh.png.

Hopefully someone can help me with this one but I've looked through all my FW books and I cant find the points value for the Iron Circle because I'm not sure if they are under the Domitar entry or somewhere else I'm missing, I'd appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction so I can vow it into the ETL.

Here's the terminators finished, thanks for looking everyone! biggrin.png

Thanks everyone for the likes and feedback! Managed to get the Praetor Tribune on Saturday, I don't really think he'll fit in with my Iron Warriors so I'm considering starting another thread as a side project that I'll update now and again. Hopefully I should get the first mini done to kick-start the new thread by Tuesday biggrin.png

The paintjob looks great, but I think the upper layer of the shoulder pads should be in contact with the torso/backpack armour.

Thanks! Yeah I'll definitely need to fix that didn't realise how far off they were haha

Cataphractii ? Nah son Cataphract-oh my god those look sick.

Thanks man! laugh.png

I agree with Quixus, while they are beautifully painted, the gap between the shoulder pads and torsos do look a bit unsightly. Awesome looking Praetor btw.

Cheers Soric! Going to try and pull the pads off and re-position them

Here you go, Dantioch... I used them for my Death Guard Command Squad as well, they look bad ass and somehow fit the siege theme quite well.

As you can see, helms fit in perfectly fine with room to spare. There is some filing down you'll have to do to remove some of the SoH iconography, but I left some personally as I thought it would add a little more character (like they've campaigned with the Warmaster and received Honors).

Thanks dude! Thats exactly what I'm looking for, they look amazing. How did you go about attaching the banner because I definitely want to put some of those banner decals to use biggrin.png

Oh man, I'm sorry I never saw you responded! I actually used the hand from the Mk. III Command Squad and just attached that to the Terminator arm. Easy peasy.

BTW, the Iron Circle are in the new Legions Red Book.

Thanks everyone, life has got in the way recently so I've made hardly any progress unfortunately. Here's a small update to my centurion had to order another invictarii set to get the head as its one of my favourite bare heads from the HH range. Hopefully he'll look quite unique when he's finished:

Thanks for the inspiration Dantioch, I'm going to try

and replicate your weathering technique on my

Death Korps of Krieg. (with a little more mud!!)

Thanks a lot Jud, glad to help! Looking forward to seeing them!

No problem dude, should have a spare banner kicking around. Thanks for the help!

This is amazing! Such and inspiration. Gonna repaint my 30th anniversary marine, can't be bothered to save money for BaC. Might have to repaint my tac marines too, marines defect all the time after all.

Thanks a lot man, its much appreciated biggrin.png

Hey everyone! Sorry for the extreme lack of updates but I finally got my centurion done. I don't know when I'll next work on my Iron Warriors as I've started a Black Legion force over on the CSM area if anyone wants to check it out. Thanks for all your comments and support and I will definitely return to the Heresy at some point. biggrin.png

Thanks guys, I'm looking to get my Iron Warriors back on track starting with a vet squad for "The Iron Within" contest and some other things I'll post up soon including the Leviathan. Still got some work to do on the leviathan before I start painting him though.

Going to be doing some characters and stuff while I await the new HH boxset that will hopefully have some sweet, sweet MK3 armour to bulk up my troops.

Oh, come on - at what point did you think anyone would say no?

Yes, obviously yes msn-wink.gif

Gotta get that B&C stamp of approval haha biggrin.png

Hey everyone! I've finally got some progress to show from my Iron Without vow. These are the first 4 marines of a 5 man veteran squad just about done bar some weathering and of course arms and such. I've also started planning a chaplain that I'm really excited to start painting.

Indeed, it can't be easy to think of ways to keep a primarily silver amy visually interesting, but those latest legionaries are perfect examples of how to do it. Face plate hazards are a good idea very well executed. If you're going to do stripes, they need to be precise and you've nailed it.

Hey everyone, been far too long but I've finally got my Heresy hobby bug back and I've switched to the complete opposite side of the spectrum again and started following the teachings of Lorgar after seeing some awesome Word Bearers logs and minis on here. I'll be doing my best to keep this updated as much as I did before and feel free to hit me with some C&C as I go along biggrin.png

First step of this project is a ten man veteran squad with a mixture of MKIII and MKIV, then hopefully if FW finally release the lascannon Deredeo in the near future I'll definitely be adding that next. Here's a WIP of the next vet in its glorious unfinished state:
