Slight criticism for the IW upgrade heads: you might consider using plasticard or green stuff on the neck to improve the clearance between the chin and torso because the strike plate on the mark 3 torso changes the height and width significantly from the mark 2 torso.

Hey everyone, nothing new today as I was hoping to make some progress today but thanks to the lovely Scottish weather priming just isn't possible. Hopefully tomorrow I can get started on Perturabo's base.

The three eye lenses look kinda creepy.

He looks good nonetheless!

Thanks Knight!

Oh my, that's veeeery nice metallics!

Thanks man! Its a pain to keep them consistent though haha

That guy is awesome... aren't the Iron Hands bits just the bee's knees?

Now make more! MORBO DEMANDS IT.

Cheers man, I love the IH upgrades definitely one of the nicest upgrade kits from FW. Got a few ideas for this force so more will follow biggrin.png

too much quality , real tears , no words

Thanks Bladewolf, I appreciate it man!

Another sexier than hell shield.

Keep em comin' (giggidy!)

Cheers haha laugh.png There should be more incoming soon.

Just viewed this whole thread. Great work. I am super jealous of all the 30k awesomeness. Very excited yo see you work on your IW again.

Thanks a lot dude for taking the time to go through my thread, I appreciate it greatly man.

Nice work mate, The breachers look great.

Thanks Cthonia!

Thanks, I didn't even think about that dude. I'll definitely try a blob of green stuff the next time I use the IW heads.

Even tho you are now a heretic, i must say......these breachers are incredible!

Thanks Remus! I'll answer the call to represent the 500 worlds once again in time biggrin.png

What color is your brillant copper?

Thanks Gorgoff, its Balthasar Gold washed with Agrax then Druchii Violet thinned with Lahmian medium.

The breachers are the dog's bollocks!

Can't wait to see your take on Perturabo.

Cheers Jud laugh.png I'll hopefully be starting him soon.

Man, everything you're doing is on a different level from my painting ability! Love all the stuff :-D

Thanks Ishagu its much appreciated, I've been checking in your own Ultramarines and they look awesome dude!

Hey everyone! Sorry for not updating this for about 30,000 years, uni work has been hammering me past few months leaving little time for painting unfortunately. In about 2 more weeks I'll be free from studying and we can return to regularly scheduled updates. I'll be looking forward to catching up with everybody's projects when I finally have some dissertation free time.

But between hand ins I managed to get some paint down on The Bitter Son himself. Still a long way off finished but I'll get there eventually, I'm hoping to get him finished before the Iron Circle are released. biggrin.png

Anyway what do you all think?

Thanks everyone! With the end of my uni career in sight and with ETL so very close I though I would share the beginnings of my first ETL project:

After Wednesday I'll have plenty of spare time to get back on track with the hobby and I honestly can't wait!

Always happy to see some more gorgeous Solar Aux kicking around!

Also, that worn, bronzey iron on 'Turbo is looking spot on. Keep it going man!

Great work as usual.

Will this be the start of an entire army or

Cheers Jud , for now its just allies but that will probably change knowing me laugh.png
