The rest of Gwal (severly hurt/one heart lost/ nearly blind ) reaches them just in time. (I think Hec sees him falling and fetches him) there they met big daemon Raktra and with 1,5 Primarchs the fight is still not even but they have togheter a better Chance. @Kelborn: No, the art for the eternity gate was ordered sometime at the beginning of the year. But Artuarmanas(the guy who created the emd of light pics for canonverse) is actually very busy and this time the pic will be mostly handdrawn without 3d Models. Yeah that was me, here's the original post if ya'll want a refresher on the initial idea: I had an idea earlier about both Khârn & Nux as Knights Errant/Nightguard in a mentor-student role, then later being the first Nightguard to banish a Daemon-Primarch, ol'daddy Raktra. Khârn avenges the decades of torment and the culling of the Shepards, while Nux finally steps out of Raktra's shadow and proves his conscience doesn't make him weak. I don't know where but from really early on in this project (I guess as soon as it was clear that Icarion moves through the webway) that Raktra is leading the Assault on the Eternity Gate, facing Hectarion ( who wants revemge for the.blood crusade amd the "lost" fight). We discussed then, that Gwal would join the defenders. But Khârn and Nux can still sacrifice their lives, maybe their sacrifice could stagger Raktra long enough, so that Hec can deliver the Blow or, Hec and Gwal deliver Killing Blow after Killing Blow, but as Daemon Primarch, Raktra can't simply die and only when Khârn and Nix sacrifice themselves, Raktra is bamished (maybe they implant several voetex gremades or something like that) I am for Khârn and Nux creating an opening so that the primarchs can finish him off. Gwal and Hec are getting slapped about by the now-daemonic Raktra whose revelling in his newfound power, toying with his brothers and villainously monologuing about how he's been waiting years to do this, how all Hec & Gwal's pathetic "honour" has earned them this end etc, when Khârn & Nux show up and bust out a gift from ol'Gramps, Raktra's true name, and proceed to educate him on the downsides of daemonhood. Of course they pay for this offense dearly but with Raktra robbed of most of his power he's swiftly slain by the vengeful brothers he was toying with moments before, his last words before being banished a howl of eternal hatred for the Nightguard and a vile promise of retribution.
